Hi people, just thought i'd share this for all the 360 owners out there who like to dabble in the xbox live arcade scene. Basically you can get all your games half price, and not only that, you can do this legally. (or at least like a sneaky ninja) What you need: O- 2 xbox's with xbox live (internet connection essential) O- 1 friend (preferably with similar gaming tastes) O- 1 memory card (this is optional ju

I think your last post was really uncalled for, i've simply asked for clairity on a point i couldn't find answered on the forum so far. I bumped the thread after the weekend to see if any of the team were about to answer incase they missed it, cant see the rudeness in that, i know some people can find it annoying if the topic is old or already been covered. but its neither of those. i'll avoid the flamewar, and just sit in silence and hope a
I will point out that they did almost make an X-Com FPS, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-COM:_Alliance , and it didn't actually look too bad. But admittedly I would prefer a proper X-Com game.
ye i wanted to try that game, though i'm in a way glad it never came out, as from memory it when i first heard it got scrapped.. i think it was missing alot of the techs from the original series. one day.... one day someo
Q: How does modding work in Elemental? How can I make my own creatures? A: In most game projects, art assets are checked in through source control (CVS, PerForce, SVN, etc.). In Elemental, we are moving our artists to checking in those assets as if they were modders using the built in UI. We will have two types of assets in Elemental: Canon and non-canon. Canon assets are ones we created. Non-canon ones are ones tha
i've looked throguh what forums i could, and couldn't see anything about this take on the modding aspect of the game. For me one of the things i'd like to see is being able to play other peoples mods seemlessly. what i mean by this is, comparing it to say sins for example. the mods on there were great, but when the community wittled down a bit it was almost impossible to get a mod game going, and the main reason for this i found was you ( th
Ah X-Com, very good. Anyway what I want to see: coop squads, real time action, light vehicles, cover based firefight system... wait a second I just described down of war II! But closer in camera and less proclimations. Thats what I want to play, remember the random maps? The destroyable buildings? (just blow the wall out and fire a few rockets in to clean out the house). The only thing I don't
high-quality animations significantly prolong the longevity of any game Hortz, I think you're trumpeting gfx and animation to the wrong crowd. If we make Elemental correctly, it should be a fun playing ONLY on the cloth map (tactical mode),
i totally agree, comparing the gameplay to for example, sins... i tend to play that game fully zoomed out for a large part of the game, only zooming in to micro some b
pre ordered today, and in order to quence my thirst i've stopped playing sins and demigods ( for now :) just to get a feel for MoM again, in truth just to get my self all excited for it again :D trying to figure out sound in dos box at the moment so any tips for that and it'll be great
not the whole game, but as an optional mode for the game, for example regular mode :: single player based game ( amazing ) Co op mode :: co operative player version of single player game, with options to increase level difficulty due ot having 2 or more humans co operating ( even more amazing ) skirmish mode :: multiplayer maps, much like Lasersquad Nemesis game. with perhaps the maps being slightly large and have the commander unit f
*WARNING READING PAST THIS POINT IS THE WRITTEN VERSION OF MARMITE, you will like or dislike the idea* Hi all, i'm really looking forward to getting to grips with EWOM, anticipating being part of the beta :D ... its really good to see that stardock are making a game that even though they couldn't phyiscally be the true successor of the MOM franchise, in spirit it seems from whats been said on the forums thus far, it may well just be that! To be frank, i wasn't 100% sur
