Also, if I CAN just let my parents use their card, I'll still have to use my own email, if I've understood correctly?!
Hilving
It's because so many people are starting to play the game and it gets too much. It'll settle soon. It's been mentioned before.
Just a quick question regarding whether or not I'll still get Demigod Desktop Theme if I order now. I ordered 3 weeks ago, but because my credit card got frozen yesterday, I got an email saying a processing error has occured. So instead of waiting, can't I just order the game again (parents using their credit card), and it'll still count as pre-order, because I really want that Theme for my desktop. If so, I'll still get the key today?
I hope someone from Stardock reads this. I pre-ordered Demigod for about 2 weeks ago, and I've been waiting impatiently for this game since. Fast forward to yesterday; my credit card gets frozen. Now I'm not sure what to do. I know the money has not been taken from me yet, but have they been processed somehow so they're ready to get sent on release? Should I contact sales? With what information? Will I still get the desktop theme from my pre-order if I change my payment to a n
What, monday? Site says the 14th. It's just the guys in beta who get it tomorrow, yeah? I was not in beta, so I'll get it tuesday, right?
Great! Well done, can't wait to play this at release!!
I really like the lore to those 3 Demigods they've put on the website. Can't wait to read the others.
I haven't even played the game, I'm just throwing ideas in. I'm not a fan of the whole "losing their advantage (or a bit of it)"-thing, I'm just saying how it could be worked around.
Example: In Street Fighter 4, when you're about to lose, your enemy generally takes more damage than you. This is to ensure most matches become very even, and it is not 100% decided who wins the round, right until the very last second. The upside to this, however, is, when you're getting very good at this game, and you can make the small technique specific attacks/blocks, you get a miniscule advantage over your opponent, and your percentage chance of winning gets considerably higher.
Well gamereplays.org has experience with this. Replays can be posted there which are then reviewed by Replay Reviewers (staff) whom give tips, an analysis and rating for the game. You can check out some of the other sections and see how the replays are reviewed etc. The whole community there is very competitive based, and as soon as Demigod releases its replay system you can upload them there and they will get reviewed. I've played C&C3
It is still misleading, though.
Though I have not played the game before, I think I heard that's it's possible to record replays. To start with, we can upload replays and comment on them, give help etc. to make it more competitive. Also makes people better at the game, and it all becomes a bit more "serious" and therefore make it more eSport-friendly.
Going to a LAN event on the 9th, so it wouldn't be THAT BAD the release date was earlier than it was supposed to. :D
Good idea, I hope they'll make that possible!
Thanks for all the quick replies! No problem you posted your own question in here as well, by the way! So when the game launches I can basically pay the extra $10 and get a boxed version as well? :)
A quick question; I pre-ordered my digital version of Demigod here the other day, will I get a Demigod Vista Theme with it? I heard some mention it, just want to be 100% sure, since on the pre-order page it says the collectors edition gives you this, so I just wondered if I got this as a benefit for pre-ordering? Thanks in advance.
Yes, I think it's like this for all of us.
Not the desktop thing. But I got an answer on PM so thanks anyway, ha!
Bump. :P
You can still click on the Regulus name though, and it takes you to the background story. Looks like it's just an image problem.
I've not played the game yet, so how is it to play Rook? His background story is cool, and I like his character design. Oh, and on topic, usually some people post this: 19. Everyone's hacking! followed up by the same guy: 20. Where's the tutorial??
Ah, okey, it's because I've once ordered some books, and the shipping costs were only put on at the time I received them. So basically, I didn't get to know the total price, before I ordered. It'll just be very expensive if I buy the boxed game, and then the price would get higher because of shipping. So I take it all shipping is included in the price? Also, can I just buy the digital version, and I'll still get that desktop theme? :D
Thanks for the quick reply! Okey so I should get ready the 14th for an international release date. So, if I pre-order the retail version, it's automatically a CE edition, or so I've heard? I live in Denmark, and I didn't see anything about shipping costs when I went to check out, where can I check this? Where's it being sent from, if I buy that retail edition? I'll wait with the check out, before all this is settled. :) Thanks.
I'm about to pre-order this game on this site, but before I do so, I want to know when this game will be available in Europe? On this site it counts down to April 14th, but that's for America, right? I've checked wikipedia where it's mentioned it's released March 27, is this true? If so, I'll still get the game on Impulse April 14th right? Sorry if this has been covered somewhere else, I couldn't find it. Thanks in advance.
