1. Capitar's faction ability Legacy of Serrane does not appear to make caravans immune to attack (though the other features seem to work fine). I had a caravan murdered by a roaming Sand Golem. 2. Sometimes enemy AI taunts the player by announcing the acquisition of certain technologies or whatever; I have twice received such taunts that say "We have -1610612736. You have 1610612736. Something to laugh about... or cry about." The exact number

[quote]City building is tedious and irritating. It adds nothing to the game except graphics you can't eve see unless you zoom right in. Why does nothing cost anything? I get that production determines how many turns it takes to build things (aka Civ), but should they not cost resources as well, or at least maintenance? That would make building things a meaningful excersise, instead of just spamming every building in every city because why not. Cities should be 1 tile, maybe increasing in
Yeah, I didn't even realize that was happening until I got ready to cast a strategic spell and discovered that I only had five mana left--less than my 7 mana per turn income--when the last time I had deliberately cast anything was over twenty turns previously and then I still had about 100 in the bank. If the auto-resolve cannot be easily calculated to leave mana use out then the player would have to fight out ridiculously one-sided battles just to conserve mana, which is definite
If I have a stack if heroes or units who have been granted extra strategic movement (from a compass, for example), when I later load a saved game that stack will have only the default movement (typically 2) for the first turn after I load the game. I have reproduced this bug several times, and seems to apply no matter how many movement bonuses I have on a stack. After loading a game they start with only their default movement.
The crone asked for spider silk (I had sold some maybe thirty turns before), but fortunately spider nests spawned. I cleared out all four, and got 3 silks and a venom gland... maybe she wanted 4 silk because the quest won't complete. Pretty much all spiders have been cleared out of the world by now so maybe that's not a bug so much as an inconvenience. Still, something to consider.
I was able to end the staff quest but I did encounter two different bugs within it. Bug 1. While fighting the fire elemental, I used a scroll on the first round to summon an air elemental. I ordered the air elemental to immediately attack the fire elemental. My air elemental missed, and immediately took -2 feedback damage as if he had hit the fire elemental... he took that -2 feedback damage over and over and over again in quick succession until he die
