Yeah sometime you just cant find any fertile ground to settle at all. I hope they can improve this aspect of the random map generator. I usually restart if I cant find more than three resonably close together spots to settle.
Yes map pack does include new stamps.
Damn iOs autocorrect.
I don't want to eat wargs, I'd rather eat horses if I have to choose... [e digicons][/e]
[quote who="ivathoma" reply="39" id="3326301"] Is there any chance you could implement some quick-n-dirty Hall Of Fame/High Score in the expansion? The score could be calculated in a similar way as in the Civilzation games (difficulty, holdings, units, buildings, money, research, victory date and land area could for instance be the basis of the calculation). Ever since I first played Civ I the Hall of Fame has been among the only things that has increased the replay val
Yes i can confirm you have to kill their soverign too even if you captured all their cities. Afterall, as long as there's still one unit left they still have a chance to retake their city no?
Had the same problem myself, using in game option makes no difference. I fixed it by editing the My Games/Fallen Enchantress/prefs.ini manually.
Warlock Master of Arcane is quite new very similar. It doesn't have tactical combat but the combat on the strategy map is very deep. Armageddon DLC is exceptionally well done (but very difficult) and I'd recommend it along with the main game. If you don't mind older stuff Age of Wonder series, HOMM 3 & 5 (don't get the new one 6, it is HORRIBLE,) and of course, Master of Magic, the grandfather that started the whole genre, and is still IMO the undefeated cham
Ah thanks, exactly what I'm looking for!
Right now there seems to be very little difference between mages and archers beside one cost crystal and the other metal. I think it'll add a best more flavor if we can have items that allow generic units to equip and cast simple spells. Not devastating ones like fireball but at least burning hands or healing. I what do you think?
I think in the units folder you get to see your souverign, where you can edit the AI personality. Unfortunately I don't have a complete list of personalities, if someone can kindly provide...
As title said, is it possible to add custom music to my faction? Sorry if this is old. Thanks.
Used to be my strategy. But remember the exp is shared between your heroes so the more heroes are in one stack the slower they will level up. I'm starting a new game with one hero per stack with 2 melee and 3 range units backup, work quite well so far. Hero level way faster this way.
I second (or third) that. I now play with Spell of Making turned off exactly because all games ends the same way. It is now the easiest way to win the game and if you don't go for it AI will beat you to it, leaving all game fells ends prematurely. Maybe moving it further down the tech tree as suggested above?
Hi, I found that consistently if I left a settlement unguarded and a monster attacks and destroys it, I can simply reload my autosave previous turn and it will no longer attack. Possible exploit? I'm playing v1.291 on Challenging difficulty BTW.
what is obvious to us might not be so obvious to new players and I strongly agree Auto turn on would just confuse them and turn them away From this great game.

Well there are already a few achievements in the current FE. But I understand the temptation for achievements, they are similar to scoreboards, its like "Hey, I did this!" to view the achievements in the current FE, click CTRL+Tab, anywhere in the game (isn't these the ke
