The last patch was v1.4 that was released back on 6/20. Any update on when we can expect another round of bugfixes/gfx/economy updates?

So when can I start funding Star Control, similar to how funding works for GCiv3 ( https://www.galciv3.com/store )? If a $99 tier was available with future early access and a private developer communication forum, I'd jump on that faster than otters can chase butterflies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJoCulItdxg Thanks :)
Can there be more information on this: "So we’re adding hexes, because they make better maps" In GC2, there was no "unit" region. I actually liked this more than how Civilizations has it structured into finite cells. Thanks for listening.
I agree with ChrisNYC on this too. Looking at Stardock's portfolio, I'd rather see a Galactic Civilizations 2 adaption that strips away the "strategy combat" and replaces it with direct ship control. Alternatively, like GC2 (diplomacy, exploration, resource collection, etc) but you only control/build one ship with FTL-style combat. <
PLEASE Stardock, for all that is holy and pure, do not make Star Control as a XCom-style roboot: keep the game mechanics in place. Thanks for listening to this die hard fan :}
I've wondered this same thing... I wonder if this is something a patch is needed for.
I just bought GC2 Ultimate and fully patched up. However, I seem to be missing a game type I saw with the original game. I cant remember the exact name but it was something like this: you start off with a couple different races and after a period of time a super strong race will come into the universe and wreck havoc on everyone. In order to win, all races needed to band together regaurdless of ill history to thwart the attacking super race. I loved this scenario... why was it removed
