Just had the same problem, and I tried with pioneers. It's extra frustrating cause I welt straight to dance with dragons just because I found a Dragon Cave there, and died a LOT of times to clean the super hard enemies. Meh, at least now I know it's nothing something I'm doing wrong :P Edit: Just managed to biuld there. Aparently the game simply didn't show all "chests", once I managed to destroy 100% of the lairs it became buildable - and incredibly rich, build a 2
