Add- Polish the little details in your game (respect your companies name) Keep that apocalyptic feel, dangerous wilderness, distances between settlements, the sequel to "The Road" lol.
I wanted to buy Elemental because the lead designer of Civilization 5 ruined my civ experience after 20 years of loyal support. With this move, I think you lost a huge amount of potential sales that were about to happen, Brad. I'm sorry. Good luck, you will need it now.
grow up
The game is amazing, unfortunately I cant play it due to the nasty slow down bug. If anyone here can remember Emperor of the Fading Suns, absolutely wicked game, really advanced concepts for its time(think Machiavelli the Prince meets Galciv). Unfortunately it wasn't really playable until patched a year down the road(due to the same end game slow down). Anyway I have faith in stardock & will simply wait for the
When zoomed out to 'default' it looks like the game is still rendering all the workers and stuff in the cities on screen, even though they are too small to be seen.
This isn't a slowdown due to the game taking longer later in the game. I'm not a noob whose never played a turn based strategy game before. It runs fine and turns run smoothly until a specific turn happens and the game for all intensive purpose locks (the frame rate gets ridiculously slow, scrolling the map is choppy, etc.) It never recovers from the slow speed no matter how long I wait. Like I said in my original post, I've recreated the exact same problem
Just bought the game... end game is not really playable & I'm disappointed.
