I got the research and taught it to my starbase (maxed it out even) on 2 starbases on different sides of the galaxy and both of them when I set to build ships, don't do anything..they just sit in que and it takes up my fleet capacity so i ended up removing them from que and building them at frigate factories....wasted money on the starbase upgrades since I can't figure out how to get them to actually build...is it a bug maybe? i never tried it before now edit:crap i mad
Kougeru
forget it, i re-installed...
check your video drivers first.
I have the latest Nvidia drivers but that CANT be the issue unless Stardock fails. I played 5 minutes before i patched and there was no issue at all, then I patched and played right away and the issue appeared. In other words the only change to my PC at all was the patch...and the issue appeared. So t he patch has to be what caused it. Every other game still works perfectly fine. Only problems are in bo
simple as that, the entire game..including the start up screen and the menu screen are VEEEEERY choppy , like 5 fps or something non-stop after i updated to the latest patch. both sins and entrenchment are doing it. before today they worked fine but i noticed there was a patch for both from march (i dont normally start using impulse so i didnt notice before) so i updated and it started being lame.....how can i revert without re-installing?
ah i see, thank you very much
but my passworsd for them are all different? this normal? how do i change my in-game account password...i tried using the thing in-game but it never does anything.
lol really? unlimited?, and wow gabitraven for replying to a 3 year old thread lol.
there is issuse with how strong carriers are and ur overrating capital ships greatly....
Quoting Kitarious, reply 2On top of the fuel idea how about having the SC have to get back to their frigate before it can jump? That's already a reality
not in 1.13 , was playing today and was able to warp with like 50+strike craft on the other side of the star
"SPEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAK " will forever be in my memory >.
If you order from Impulse in any way, you get access to the downloadable goodies, including the music CD.
I'm having a really hard time finding this lol. what section is it under?
that worked, thank you
IS the CD seperately anywhere? I don't care about ogg either, foobar ftw
my old monitor was only up to 1280x1024 so i played at 1024x768 windowed, but i just got a 1080p monitor today (freaking HUGE difference..so awesome) and no matter what set the windowed resolution to, it never actually changes size....the game THINKS it does though but it doesnt change. It seems to work fine in full screen tho, but i'm still learning the game and only really play against AI while multi-tasking thus window mode. Any idea how to fix this?
even in the regular game my trade route counted thru a star, like it went from 3 planets, to the star (with nothing there) to 2 more planets in another system
against a hard AI, my 97 flak frigates for the most part..actually ignored most of the strike craft that flew directly passed them. i was very upset about that lol, but they didnt have enough to do any real damage, unlike a real player would. Either way, the problem IS the anit-fighter frigates, being far too weak/dumb. with auto-attack they seem to fail to attack fast enough and on manual attack theres waaaay too many to attack, if they had better AI and slightly more damage it would be grea
That's not true either, I finished all my research about 30 minutes before he did in both cases.
Axtax, i had EVERYTHING. and Darvin3, this happened when HE was advent and i was TEC as well tho the numbers he was ahead wernt exactly the same but he was still ahead somehow
In the end-game graph it's saying my ally had more research completely than me no matter what race he was when we both maxed out our research. It's not really a problem, it's just confusing as to how he can possibly do more research than me when we both max out all our research. I guess my question is, is there some other thing that counts as "research" that isn't actually in the research (F2) tree?
so i researched EVERYTHING , the icon even turned grey yet after the match it said my ally had about 4 more non-combat research than me (and that I had 1 more combat ). I was advent and he was TEC, tho when we reversed that the same thing happened, and i know he's not cheating in anyway...is the end-game graph just messed up or is there something else that counts as research for non-combat and combat. i know planets are counted seperately so it's confusing me
lol that temp phase stablizer sounds rigged lol. but i havnt played entrenchment so it's just SOUNDING rigged from my perspective, unless there's some kind of downside
Yeah I contacted them but they haven't gotten back yet. The thing is maybe I used a Canadian credit card but I'm on a Mainland Chinese server connecting to the billing site. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I download updates and stuff from here using Impulse so I don't see what the problem is. Has the full game been released yet? Today right? Or have they extended the date?
i think it's t
Just sit some carriers outfitted with fighters in an empty grav well and they will do the job...
carriers also produce some of the most lag XD. IMO, there should just be less ships that give more resources per kill (obviously make them stronger) to reduce as much lag as possible without killing that part of the game
then I wish there was less ships, they seem to be the largest cause of lag mid-late game >.
