When will all of the skill firing/demigod chasing bugs be ironed out? Last night I noticed that, among other things, gaining a level while chasing an enemy caused me to stop running. Little things like this make it so Demigod cannot be played competitively.
Ashain, did you ever play the episodic Sam and Max games by Telltale? They're full games that continue a story, they're just a bit shorter and always cheaper. I think they were around 20$ per on release and now you can get a full season for around that much.
Easily one of the best games ever. I'm excited about both the episodic Telltale games and the special edition Lucasarts is releasing.
custom games are far from bulletproof. we have a group of 4 friends who try to play regularly, it's a crapshoot whether we can connect to each other or not though. sometimes we connect right away with no problems and other times we can't all play together because it suddenly won't let us connect even though we just finished a game together. we all have forwarded ports and such and we can't figure out what causes it, especially since it's seemingly random. that being said things hav

what kind of cpu do you have? sim speed is pretty much a cpu performance rating. if your sim speed doesn't drop below 0 you should be okay. if it does, you can try overclocking your cpu, upgrading your cpu or turning down graphics options in the game.
i think conceding should be a team decision. if more than half of the players on the team vote to concede, the match is ended and current favor points are distributed. that way individual people can't ruin a game, ragequitters don't get partially compensated with favor points and no one has to waste their time finishing a game where one team has more demigods than the other.
today's updates seemed to help quite a bit. a friend and i had a few 3v3 games and a 4v4, everyone connected quickly and properly and we were ingame in short order. however, in the 4v4, about 3/4 of the way through the game it split and at least we two had separate instances of the game with all bots. it seems to happen quite often and has persisted since launch.
this really is a terrible idea. it's a ban site being run by a guy who thinks he's doing the community a favor and refuses to listen to the opposite side of the argument. what if a legit player gets banned and you're simply in a bad mood the day they try to appeal? they're unfairly banned and on top of that they have no way to fix it even though they went through the proper channels and did nothing wrong. what if someone gets unfairly banned and leaves and angry message bashing you

it would be great to hear something about the favor-related problems. it's a bit of a game breaking issue - when the other team has favor items and yours doesn't it really tips the balance in their direction. it's easy enough to get around it by creating custom games with no favor items allowed but it very much affects skirmish and pantheon. maybe a temp fix would be to start everyone with 1000 points on multiplayer login until a working patch is released?
maybe the devs should change the demigod/model to a male king of thorns, his junk can also be covered by vines. would that be more acceptable? everyone is allowed an opinion, not wise to express said opinion if you aren't willing to take the backlash though.
