Reply to Diplomacy in War of Magic

Well, all I hope for is that the AI in EWM won't be as cheap as in many other games(cheating, ganging' up on the human player like death-row prisoners on a 10-year old girl etc. etc.) If it's at least will be able to use diplomacy to a certain degree and hold it's own in a war(read: not buying hordes of cheap cannon-fodder and rush them out onto the battlefield) and using magic properly... then I'm satisfyed. But if it holds the same standard as say... Dominions 3, then the game is a big NO-N
Creating graphics for new units is always the most challenging part... I'd extremely surprised if Stardock develops a spore-like creature creation tool; it would require an immense amount of time, effort and money... Not to mention, there is a reason why the graphics in spore are as... silly.. as they are (that's not to say I have a problem with its graphics). The reason is that it is much easier to make silly creatures look
As far as adding your own races, creatures etc They said you could import stuff from Maia or possibly some other 3D object creator. So it is not going to be like Spore. At least that aspoect is going to require a decent amount of know-how-skillz.
Damn, that sucks. So if I want to create a new troll or something I have to take an entire class of Maya or some other **** like that?:( It's not like I plan on releasing it to the public or
For the people who find complex and detailed economies fun, a simplified version won't be as fun. No matter how well done it is. I fear the war of 'simple' vs 'complex' is over-complicated in its own right. What we will be doing is implementing a system that is straightforward and easy to expand upon so, as people play and flaws/concerns are noted, we can come up with FUN solutions. There were alot of great ideas in the

Well, I can surely see that different players prefer different mapsizes and number of players in-game, but im sure we can all agree on that Elemental will be the event of the year for us TBS gamers!

Someone here mentioned the game Fire Emblem and the fact that you could show 'complex' and 'less complex' info on your units. While I haven't played the game myself I actually think that this is a good idea. There was a discussion about mammoths in the desert or whatnot earlier and one person wanted to know EXACTLY why his mammoths suffocated in the desert while another said that it was all simple logic and could be explained by a 'this unit has a 50% chance of surviving in desert' sc

Have been playing Dominions 3 for a while now, so here are my "2 cents", or whatever... Alot of people have been bashing the graphics in this game, saying that the suck and bla, bla, bla. I actually think that the pixel-artwork is really good for the most part. Detailed(even more with the new patches) and colorful. The poor 3D battlefields fill out their role and the hand drawn maps that were made by the developers are beautiful in my own, honest, gamer-opinion. The sound is,
