I tried running it on a 9800 pro and it will run...but it isn't playable by my standards. I only had a 2 ghz proc on that comp and got maybe 10 fps max. This was during the beta though. I'm not sure how it will run with a 3 ghz proc, but it still probably won't be acceptable framerates.

I think the most important thing is allowing an editor for user content. Isn't this one of the reasons why Demigod is here in the first place. WC3 had a great editor system which allowed for games like DOTA and tower defense which are still played today. Battle.net might not be the best multiplayer system but it gets the job done better than most. Yes a good community is #1 but to get a good community you need not only a good game, but a way for the community to custom

Remember all we really know is newtonian physics with a little correction from Einstein. Quantum physics is a different story and could theoretically disprove all of what we now perceive as truth. My two cents...now continue to think outside the box. Don't forget about bending space, think of it as a ship surfing on a wave of distorted space. Go LHC, show us some cool hadron collisions.
