Wow your idea deserves serious attention from the devs. It's good I think. Don't have the time now myself to let my mind go over it all (Brad's and yours) but your arguments and such certainly deserve to be read :)

I loved the book: Destiny's Embers There is lots of story left to tell, and I want to immerse myself in that great world you created more and longer! (the first book has around 500 pages) Please do consider writing a sequal. Related to that is a point of concern for me: What about the channelers in the 'global mana pool'-world? I loved the fact channelers were powerful unique beings like in the books: Angenica, Mirdoth, Calis. They shouldn't just be resources i
Great news :) But about the book: Make a sequal, PLEASE! :) There is lots of story left to tell, and I want to immerse myself in that great world you created more and longer! I have been silly: the code can be entered (as is said in the book itself) at WWW.ELEMENTALGAME.COM/DESTINY
Hmm I have the book as well, I really like the story so far (chapter 22), the characters and the way it's written. Awesome. I knew this already since I had read the first chapter on Amazon... I was hooked :P So yeah I was basically wondering the same thing as Twohawks here: I have the book and the code on the sticker on the inside of the backcover, but how do I apply it, register it?
OP: do not worry, it will re-establish itself. If we allow it.
I have been attacked by monsters quite a lot... And also, what was really bad: It seems when monsters attack and destroy a shrine, the elemental shard is gone! I have had happen multiple times this playthrough that old forest or ancient libraries lost their structure, so I had to kill the monster and build it again. Annoying, but ok. But it seems when an elemental shard building is destroyed it's just completely gone :o Darned! Is this intended?
Only thing to consider buying might be for female empire sovereigns the boots that give +1 movement and +0.25 combat speed. Since you can never buy nor equip those boots after sovereign creation (=bug me thinks). It gives an extra spell/attack, since the system allows you to spend .25 points for something costing 2 full points like casting.
lol the one does in no way exclude the other! in fact, I'd say they even positively influence each other.
BRAD: "I should also say that regardless of sales or reviews, our commitment to Elemental will not be affected." If this is 100% true then I will be awed, surprised, grateful and positive about the future of our race. Don't get me wrong: this would be normal. But I just have to look at simple things like politics where politicians don't just do what's best, but they tend to do what gives them the most votes to see how horribly it has been going wr
Nah you're wrong unfortunately, the buildings tab is completely empty. Do I need to copy paste something to a mod map or something then?
Really!? I thought I had checked and I didn't see them, lemme check again, if you're right THANK you!
Yeah... but that's not a Resoln city that looks like mine would at around turn 40 at the start of the game... and that's what I mean. But thanks.
[quote who="Mivo" reply="131" id="2748621"] Quoting GalahadtheElder, reply 129 The problem with a static AI is that in the very best case it's just about as good as you without exploits, and that way it will be down to random luck (close resources, a roll that keeps your lvl 4 unit alive in that one battle, etc) Play that then long enough and that will seem to be bad. Humans opponents > AI up till now (unless you play for different reasons
For me my second stack (9) of Dark Knights (lord hammers and plate full armor) got through and killed him. It was a fun and not easy battle though :) Problem was, afterwards I couldn't understand where to go... either that, OR the place hadn't spawned/had vanished/had bugged.
Yeah multiplayer is so good with the 'simultaneous turns'. Heck even hotseat kept me very busy for years. I think I remember you even from AoWII Heaven pawelS, such good memories (I am using a different nick now). The thing is: no matter how good the AI is, it's (so far I know up till now anyways) STATIC. So either it's too hard, unfair, or you learn to 'exploit' it's weaknesses and it's too easy (or it's too easy altogether). The problem with a static AI is that in the very b
Hands down AoW:SM, those dudes at Triumph are so ubercool, I had a clan and played with them in a LAN café in The Hague a couple of times... Playing (and in one case winning!) against the devs in their own game that they really really loved to play was unforgettable and will always keep me a big fan of Triumph (well... unless they sack all those people and turn completely crap of course, there are always scenarios one can think of when one uses his/her imagination...). So yeah,
*cries and bumps against better judgment, hoping against hope... despair around the corner...*
Sure, I'm not talking about the recent acitivities list... I amtalking about the actual subforum (ie: support) you post it in. I have typed that earlier. But it's not a big point, I just don't like being misunderstood :P
Yeah, just build 1 25% essence building and you have 6 mana, enough to cast it twice. And those people talking about how it's not a problem and how you can have 7 minions by the time you have your first child born... no, I usually have won by turn 50 (I play medium maps, maybe that helps me), just around getting my first child. You don't need more then 2 minions for a long time anyway.
Read the thread man ;)
Grakul/Graham, Can you see a couple of units standing near a black spot? That's a cave, and that's where the survivor fled. Attack it an'd win and he'll come out, then do what he says. The cave is northwest and in the mountains from the first tracks that you can see on the screenshot above.
Well if it wouldn't be a problem against humans all I can say is: let's try it out & the AI is REALLY bad if you're right about that one. Seriously, 4 vigilant minions dominate everything so hard you can just run to everyone's capital and totally destroy whatever they have. And about stacks of 12 peasants: it will take a lot of research and a lot of turns till you have your first one, by that time I'm sure I have overrun you. Maybe if you throw everything on warresearch?
I totally agree, i did mention it before, here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/393134 First (second post) about the demons, then in the last post until now I had discovered those summons had it as well. It's totally crazy as I calculated there.
