Hello there, I only play Fallen Enchantress so I don't know about LH, but from my point of view it's not that high level are overpowered (yeah they are actually), it's more that the rest is underpowered. In FE there is THE uber spell named "parangon". With it you just don't need to xp two or three hero, you juste xp the sovereign, get him whatever +Hit per level you find (up to +7 i've done once) and power channel some random hero who become so much gamebreaking it
