I will have to look at the files myself then, in Sins, it is the entity files. Here i understand they are xml? anyway, still readable with notepad, unless they have to be converted first? If E:FE is going to concentrate on Tactics, and conquering the surrounding boss controlled areas before venturing out into the world to build Kingdoms. :) I would like to thank everyone for their input and thoughts, it has been enlightening. I hadn't really thought that it might not be playable just because the AI was dumb. But i decided to jump anyway, :) Whether that is stupid or not, we shall see. I have played a few games, mostly getting to understand what is going on and how the game works. It looks interesting, though to be sure it does feel rather 'empty' alot, well, at least in the beginning.

I read the interview a few days ago and was very hopeful, with Paxton and Shafer on board I think they will find the focus they are looking for. I have the original game now for three weeks and find it interesting and fun, so i am not quite sure what the problem was. But with (Stardock with Paxton and Shafer) concentrating on what they see as 'key' elements (improving the world, improving the magic and tactics) is what i read in the interview, a very, very nice

Hi, I just got the game this week and have been having a blast getting into everything. I have modded over on the Sins forums for Sins of a Solar Empire, nothing elaborate, well... one or two were pretty extensive, but mostly lots of small 'tweak' sort of mods. Anyway, I wanted to ask if the mods here, meaning the ones from November and December of last year still worked in the new 1.2 version, or if the update means they are broken?</
