Compliments for the content possibilities and upgrade. What I miss is the cosy feeling of the old site, it was this nice homestead you could walk through, this is more a slick skyscraper and has become somewhat impersonal Not impersonal. Look: "Welcome ExodusCrow!" It knows my name!! <img src="http:

Brad's My Skins page . You apparently have to change it to his UID, which is 1. It would be nice to be able to change it from http ://frogboy.wincustomize.com/myskins.aspx?acid=1 to http ://frogboy.wincustomize.com/myskins.aspx?acid=frogboy or anything other nick; acid=jafo or acid=exoduscrow

DesktopX will eventually make use of XAML & Avalon under the covers to make doing this stuff even easier I can't wait to see what kind of cool things DesktopX will be able to do! Judging by that demo, some pretty cool things! Thanks for the link Froggy.

Tweak UI has an option under the "Logon" tab that will accomplish this. Tweak UI is a Microsoft "... PowerToy [that] gives you access to system settings that are not exposed in the Windows XP default user interface, including mouse settings, Explorer settings, taskbar settings, and more." You can download it and other PowerToy's here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Sounds interesting. For a second computer it sounds promising, although you'd have to buy a monitor, which can be quite expensive. I don't know how many people would buy this as a primary unit; it just doesn't match the speed of all the new systems out there. Granted it is much cheaper. If it is as thin as they say it will be, it will defiantly look cool! </fo

Icon Developer to convert PNG files to ICO https://www.stardock.com/products/icondeveloper/downloads.asp To change the icons in the control panel you'll need a program to change icons. The one from stardock is Icon Packager and works quite well https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/downloads.asp

I just spent way to much time reading through that thread. It seems as though several of the people from customize.org completely missed a lot of the main points made by people from both sides. I did some looking around that site; they do have some nice VisualStyles's. But the first four styles I saw were ports fr

I've recently updated my wireless strength object to version 2.0. Some of the main updates are: - Implemented a function created by Kevin Cummings to solve a problem with some wireless cards. [IsWLANAdapter()] - Now saves size and position on exit - Updated graphics to 128x128, instead of 256x256, shrinking the object size in half - Fixed a couple bugs when you resize the object - Now comes packaged with a test object that creates a

I actually ran into this site a while ago. It has a pretty good interview with morgemiel. I'd love to see more interviews on the site as Scarebear said. They really scour the internet to find some of these programs. There are so many on that site I've never heard of before!

FilkoSE, I would never mess with 2,187,569 downloads. Me saying I'm going double platinum was just a large case of download envy If we were to eliminate the 1000 downloads shield, what about having a small section on the site with a daily list of some people who reached the small milestone. Just to give them some recognition for being new skinners. And as for the p

I think I'm going double platinum in about a week. Wish me luck! I like 10,000 , 50,000, 100,000 , 500,000 and 1,000,000. However keeping the 1000 for new skinners would be good. It felt cool to reach a milestone like that.
