Good catch, I'd noticed the speed was squiffy sometimes but could never catch the cause. Which slow effects have you tested against?

Urgh, enough with the joke threads copying another thread you don't like already. The place is full of enough junk as it is, at least take the picture spam to off topic.

Smack talk is a BIG PART of DotA, continued on to be a BIG PART of this game, and practically all online MP games. I don't want to group up with nasty people, that would make is miserable for ME!
Oh geezus, if you don't wanna be stuck with t
I just hope to god that pic's legitimate. If it is the owner deserves some credit to make up for his probably empty bar. [e digicons];P[/e]
I still miss John Combes sometimes, Tyo did awesome on the rest but Scathis sounded like he had much more exciting plans for generals. Pretty nice info in there, nice to hear a more in depth GPG story.
Well I have to say, alot of the review pretty much spell out what the single player element is like. I should have thought that it should have been more plain what you were getting if you've seen a couple of the reviews. If you're not strongly against it, give the multiplayer a chance. The connectivity's already much improved since some reviews were written and there's a fair chance you won't have any problems at all. Multiplayer is what Demigod really is, single player
Hehe, as an aside, that phrase always seems terribly backwards to me. Shouldn't it be "couldn't care less"? Also, yes, teasing or winding up people you don't know should be done very delicately, if at all. Since even if the reverse situation wouldn't bother you, you don't know if they share your tastes in humour. Pulling someone's chain in itself is considered bad taste by a lot of people. Maturity includes understanding this and the ability to re
I will admit I thought angels served more of a purpose when they came after cata's and did more like 250 a hit. Of course they used to get stuck at portals alot back then too, being swarmed by 8-10 of them when attacking might have made them look more powerful. [e digicons];P[/e]
No comment on the actual values chosen, those will probably need a bit of hard testing to get right. But I do like the bounty idea as a concept, it would make "farming" the AI or less experienced players less viable and the tougher players real prime targets. It would do wonders for the complaints about feeders loosing the game from the more unsporting people too.
Sarcasm title, it's all the rage this week. He's ripping into the people who say they should have used host/client like warcraft 3.
I'm sure you feel all warm and fuzy for rising above the plebian masses who might not rigorously examine their balance suggestions and asserting that you're unequivically better than them at the game. But you've just made a completely pointless post. So, erm... Please don't next time? L2P is at worst a weak defence of those scared of change or unable to comprehend balance and at best an arrogant statement by people who are too lazy to actually hel

Derek Smart eat's puppies and craps games.
He can't capture the flag with an enemy demigod blocking him, keep a tele scroll handy and head back when he tries it. Shield only lasts 6 seconds and he's in the middle of your base, you should have a good chance of to killing him.
Obviously those of you complaining about this thread 'rubbing it in the Dev's faces' aren't familiar with SD's policy on Copywrite protection and the reasoning behind it. Let me sum it up for you. They don't put copywrite protection on their games because they feel that they'll lose more sales from people who just dont want to mess about with the protection, then they will to pirates, who would have cracked the protection anyw
Hehe, more importantly more people have lost against bots on crucible than have won...
There's been so many "joke" nerf threads and still they go unrecognised. I'll admit the joke is getting old now though.

They work on the lucky numbers out of fortune cookies of course. It always confused me how all the demigods can have >50% win rate at the same time, who are they beating?
Really, a 3rd topic, it's nice that you're buying the game but do the torrents have instructions along the line of : "Now go on their forums and rub their face in it" Couldn't you just have a topic "want info before buying"? [edit] I got ninja'd
"100times better than actual stuff" and "because actualy lobby is mutch worser" are classics, real gems. Still, t'was rather blunt by frogboy there. Ouch.
It always seems to happen to a new batch of people after every game update. I'm sure there's a link. I've tried every local tweak I can, I wanna know if DG keeps any backups with stardocks servers because something keeps resetting my favour to negative even when I delete all local records of it. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but all my tracked stats on stardock's website from pantheon and custom games has dissapeared from before the ga
Repost of my replies to another thread today in a more apropriate place : My achievements and favor have gotten broken after pretty much every game update no matter which game type I play. This time it got stuck at -1375 (cost of the last favour item I bought, and the only one I have left) when I started playing a custom game. What's new this time is it's stuck at -1375 and keeps resetting agfter every game. After a game is finished I check game.p
Ok, completely new profiles that start with 150 favor in single player start with -1375 favor in multiplayer too, so it looks like it's something linked to my impulse log in that's broken. I can't find any more local files so I'm left wondering if there's something stored on the impulse servers now. Can I ask if the SD guys if there's anything to do with favour stored on the impulse servers now? If so I think it's kinda died and left a horrible mess on my account. [e di
Yeah, I thought it might be another AoK rant too, I came in here to groan at the new lows of humanity then saw an actual issue. Been playing around some more with it trying to unstick. Oddly if I play a couple of custom games the negative favor in game.prefs will keep getting smaller by the amount of favor I earn, but the displayed in game favor doesn't go up. In single player I can earn favor and the displayed number will go down, and I can play
