I guess when I purchased the game, I didn't read the fine print, so to speak.
Is this the small print you talk about [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] Well, one of the big changes since Stardock and Gas Powered Games have teamed up is the single player game. Stardock takes single player games very very seriously. You could say it's our area of expertise. In

Thank god that they took the time and made the single player part of demigod the game it is today. Can you imagine what it would have ended up like if it they hadn't taken it very, very seriously. I'm glad it's stardock's area of expertise or it might have just ended up with skirmish and then a series of skirmish games called a tournament and called it a single player. OK enough sarcasm. I know at the time that journal was released that some people were getting worried that nothing ha

Thanks for the information highlander, good to know somethings being worked on for this issue. Once you can create and choose your player it'll make a lot more sense. Right now it's a bit confusing to login with one name and then see its using a completly different name.
This hasn't been fixed in the latest update. I login to the internet within Demigod with my current username but then in the bottom left hand corner it says "Logged in as oldusername"!
Nevermind watch how about fixing it? [e digicons]
I can't believe there is no way to change your nickname, unless this is down to some kind of bug.
This does not work. Thanks for trying though. It shows my new nickname in the forum and irc ok. When I login at demigod I use my new nickname which is accepted ok but then down in the bottom left hand corner it says logged in as "old nickname". I go to join a game and it shows my old nickname! There is something not right here, you login with one name but it says you are logged in with another, very confusing. Like I said why is it so hard to change your name? Why can
Surely changing your nickname can't be this hard? My impulse/forum and profile all have my new nickname but join a game and there is my old nickname. Where is the option to change your nickname that appears ingame? surely this should be your profile name?
F10 just brings up the menu and the game continues. It is possible to pause the game from this menu though. I'm just asking if I can pause the game by pressing a key on the keyboard.
Frogboy I sent an email yesterday with this problem but i've not heard anything back.
I have a fully paid for copy of Windows Vista but I used a different email address to purchase the game so my problem is with number 2. Looks like we might have to wait till Monday to get a fix [e digicons]>:([/e]
Thanks Gnats. I can't find the pause button and i've tried a few combinations so I think you are right. I wonder if creating a profile and then deleting the old profile will clear all your achievemnts/favor points?
War Rank I understand this is controlled by the amount of flags you control, the more flags you have the more war rank you get. Is there anyway to see this going up? It would be nice to see some visual feedback the affect of capturing flags has on your war rank speed. Does war rank affect the look of your citadel? As the game progresses I noticed that the look of it (got bigger) changed as the game progressed. What benefits does a bigger citadel give you
So is this looking like a problem\bug caused by people who purchased the game with a different email to the one registered to Impulse? I can't see anyway to change the email address in Impulse otherwise I chould change it to the one I used to purchase the game. Anyone know to do this? DalzK, glad to hear your problem has been fixed although it sounds quite strange. Why would the time have an affect on the server accepting your password, afterall the forums and impulse continued to acc
Can you sort my account out as well please? reck75
Yeah it seems a few people are having this problem [e digicons]>:([/e] which is very annoying. Hope someone finds a fix soon.
Yeah same here, can log into forum and impulse but can't log into Demigod. Hope someone find an answer before the weekend is over.
I prefer fusion a lot more as well, its much more convient then constantly rebooting the machine. It's even better if you use unity mode :). I've never tried it for games though and I still think boot camp will do a better job. I'm finding though that i'm spending more time in windows (via bootcamp) and fusion than osx that i've questioned why a purchased a mac in the first place. It cost more lots more $$$ to buy than a pc and they are a lot worse when they brake down compared to pcs
If you want to play PC games you best get a PC. If your stuck with a mac you'll probably get better results using bootcamp than fusion.
You guys moaning knew what you were paying for right? If not why did you pay the cash lol. It sounds like you felt you could pay, play the game for a bit, then get a full refund when you were finished. Did you read that this was the case somwhere before you purchased? Sorry but I don't see you have a leg to stand on. When I grabbed my credit card I knew that I was paying for the game, better for worse. I was under no illustion that at some future date I could get a full refund for non
Thank you
Where will the beta testers be able to read the release notes for todays update so we know what's changed and been fixed? Thanks
Like most of the other people in this thread I find it hard to tell the difference as well. It should be very obvious without having to "workout" how to spot the difference. Glad to hear the devs think the same thing. [e digicons][/e]
