Banned becuase the homeworky class in question is math, which is rediculously easy and I can already recite every formula in the textbook while playing Jak II and watching TV and I've never missed a point on a test in the semester except for one where I didn't read the directions and she STILL gives me more homework!

But seamanship and a few other techs are yellow and red, meaning that you have a chance of their becoming available.

I'm still not sure about important techs like seamanship being RNG-controlled. I would have imagined stuff like "potions of abnormal healing" or "high-speed adamantium mining": you know, stuff that's nice but you can live without.

One thing that bothers me is that SD seems to be proceeding as if the current border-relations system is the final system, i.e. speding a lot of extra time and effort making sure that it works well. As one of the main ajitators for a more reasonable border system, this has me concerned.
