It's not a secret in this forum. And I think you were doing a mod for Gal Civ II too?
Hmm... don't remeber telling anybody here besides Darkodimplus (not that I was trying to keep it a secret or anything, it just never came up). And yes, I am making a mod. Good way along in it, too. Don't know if you'd be interested, but here's the link: https://forums.galciv2.com/355228 OT, I actually like Swicord's idea a little better ju
Banned for having to study. I took my advanced biology exam cold and got a perfect on it.
Banned because I have a new avatar.
How on EARTH (or Tallon IV?!) did you know I was such a big Metroid fan?! In any event, elemental dragons: agree. I would like to see some that look more Oriental for things like water and Earth that you usually don't assosciate dragons with in the West. Not reviving land....... sort of agree: I could see an area where a dragon spends a lot of time (a lair or nest, basically) slowly becoming more in tune with that element, but other than that no real revivification abilities. Innate s
Imp? [e digicons]}:)[/e] In any case: Luckmann: Bear-cavalry(wo?)man hero. Wintersong: Amazon warrior (yes, I know you're actually male (or at least want us to treat you like you are) but you always always always ALWAYS have an amazon avatar, so....) GunslingerBara : Hero recruitment advisor. <strong
I can see it clearly: a mod based on digital distribution platforms. Lord Frogboy would lead The Impulse Kingdom as Sovereign, of course. And they don't cast spells but launch games and marketing ads. Instead of citizens, we have fanboys while normal users would be mercenaries.
I'm in. Seriously, this sounds like a fun little joke mod........ can we name units after forum denizens?
Interesting stuff....... haven't really gotten aroung to playing 1C yet, but so far things are looking good............ will the AI continue to be "smartened" after the official release of the game?
Banned for taking away his God-given right to start massive forest fires. Ya'll tree huggas want us to just bend over an' grab arr ankles, doncha?!
I actually like it better this way...................... of course, the guy now looks like one of those old b-movie mad scientist assistants......... but with a little tweaking a pure-white cloak like this (maybe with some silver runes twining along the edges) would look great for a priest, light-mage, or soverign unit.
Slightly better................... creepy, yes, but not creepy , if you get me.......... My impression was that if you gave a hero or imbued unit some of your essence, (s)he could spend it to revivify the land just like a channeler could......... but it could be anything and I don't think even the devs themselves know..
Banned for ryating over somebody going harpo.
Aaaaack creepy avatar!! In any case, I actually don't want dragons to have the ability to channel essence in any way similar to a regular channeler: building stuff on magic shards and reviving massive blobs of land just doesn't seem......... dragony to me. I would prefer to aheva system where the dragon can do very little in terms of scope (say, resurrecting only one or two squares of land right where it's nest/lair/whatever is or casting only local buff and attack spells) but doing i
Yea, I think we are all fans of in-game things which we are personally against. Its like playing an alter-ego. Probably alot more present in people with a greater degree of Cognitive Disonance.
Yeah, I always root for the bad guys in various games, movies, and TV shows (I especially like the Empire, the Vs, the Space Pirates, and Baron Praxis). It's sort of a cathartic thing: you get to release beliefs and opinions you usually suppress because in real life you think that they le
