I used to pirate games back when I didn't have the money to afford all the games that I wanted due to college etc. However I still probably own more games than 90% of ppl on this forum (nearing 200). Does that mean my piracy was negative in any way? Obviously not.

Sorry I shouldn't have responded as baked as I was....The correct way! - Open Impulse, Click Community, Make sure you are logged in, click my account, then login....and then you should see the change username button. Sorry for the stupidity lol.

To change your username: Load impulse, click top-left-blue button, click preferences, account, login....and then change username. EDIT: As for the reason why they use your impulse name I would assume it is because of the ingame ranking system which would get screwed up if ppl were constantly creating new accounts.

AFAIK the retail version of Dawn of War 2 will only require steam to activate and then will no longer be required to run.

I really can't see it not having an automatch system. We are still like 2 1/2 months from release.
March 2008 I remember reading about this game for the first time in February / March of last year thinking how great it looked. And then I read an interview with someone from stardock who talked about all the work they were planning on doing with extra content and the beta for preorderers in the "summer" and immediately preordered...never done anything like this before...but I just felt compelled. Anyone else have a similar story?
To update to beta 2b you need to login to Impulse (click the blue button in the top left). And then goto My Games and in the bottom right it should say update.
The points appear but then they disappear later after relogging (or so it seems). I had a number of different bars that were full / partially full and then quit and logged back into the game and it all went back to 0.
Yes, it is when you have the required war rank to buy that unit that the announcer announces it.

IMO this game looks amazing from a single-player and multiplayer perspective. I have been waiting for a game like this for so long. One of the few games I am more excited about than Demigod.

That would make teleport completely useless as you could run there faster than it would take to teleport.
I have a dual monitor setup as well and I have played the beta a decent amount and cant remember ever having this happen so I'm pretty sure it locks it as long as you have the game in full screen mode.
