When creating a new character to play with I tried out two backgrounds for my finished character and in both cases I got the same background (which I did not pick). I choose wraith as a race and in each case I got the normal wraith background and not the one I had chosen. Kinda annoying, as I don't want my character to look like a crazy person in a crypt.
Well for one, that resist stuff is just silly. Pretty much every spell you cast is resisted. My soveeign was lvl 7 and i was casting everything from inferno to magic arrow etc against simple guards and they shrugged off 99%. Infact it may have been 100% as they always resisted. I seriously hope you dont choose to implement the magic resistance, that a simple grunt peasant with a spear should be able to shrug off a powerfull spell cast by say a lvl 15 channeler is just retarded. I also had those issues, but wasnt too much of a hassle to do so i did it, my real issue comes from constant game freeze. I didnt have those issues with the last version and i pretty much NEVER have any such issues with any game, so this is really puzzling to me. I cant really playtest anything with the game freezing up every 5 mins. :/
