Well, that fixes my problem! Been trying to figure it out for a week and a half now, thanks! [e digicons]:P[/e]

ahh, ok, thank you, haven't been spending my points since I figured I had to spend them each time, heh
ok, I don't quite understand this honestly... Are the items perma-unlocked for that demigod once you've bought them so you don't have to keep spending favor points for those items? Or do you have to keep paying for the same item over and over?
Scratch that, didn't have it fixed, getting a mainly black screen with a bit of the UI, but the UI has black squares (think big pixels) over it, this is after playing for a bit (wasn't able to finish one game) For some reason it worked for a while, I didn't change anything since I thought I had it fixed... I'm sad again [e digicons]:'([/e]
Honestly, I wouldn't know, though there is different types of slots that different video cards go into (think most are PCI-Express these days, but I'm not sure), so I wouldn't be able to tell what video cards would work with your computer without knowing what slots the mother board has (I tried to look up what your dxdiag said as your motherboard, didn't find what I was looking for) So all in all, sorry, I can't really help you there, I hope somebody else can though

Ok, I think I fixed it after looking at one of the other directx related topics (sure, they pop up AFTER I finally decide to post mine) I deleted my temp files folder at: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp And then reinstalled the video drivers, I've been able to play a few long skirmish maps without the game freaking out again Now the trick is to get the AI demigods to stand still long enough so that Rook can squis
Sadly, I already have those installed right now, was the first thing I tried >_
I've noticed (for the short time I'm able to play games before my game decides it hates me) that by default, the pause option is set to "none" for skirmish maps and you can set it to 3 timeouts or infinite timeouts Hope that helps
I'm still looking for help >_ And I figure its in the DxDiag log, but I'm running dual Nvidia 9800 GTX video cards for my SLI, though I still get the error if I'm not running SLI I just want to be able to play, I've been looking forward to this game since I first heard about it >_
I've been trying to play demigod all day, but I keep getting "Deviced3d9.ccp" related errors I've updated my video drivers and directx (updating directx has let me play more than 5 minutes where that was about how long I could play before updating it to the most recent verson) but I still get the errors (normally before being able to even finish a short single player game) Most recent log file: http://pastebin.com/m4dcc21d7 <
Heres my demigod log and dxdiag demigod log http://pastebin.com/m63cfd4 dxdiag http://pastebin.com/m6dbb9a3 I can play for a few minutes before my graphics freak out and I'll get a grey screen, sometimes it fixes with broken graphics, but generally keeps doing it until I eventually have to hit the reset button on my computer because it seems to freeze
