Is the story told through quests or cutscenes mainly?

August 24 US times still? If so yay that'll be on my birthday pretty much! :D EDIT: Also congrats! :P
Feels like things are really moving along. :)
I suppose that's good enough for me. :)
OK I don't wanna jinx it, but at the moment Elemental releases the day after my birthday. I live in Australia and I was wondering whether the preordered copies would be shipped before the release date such that they arrived on the day itself. If that was the case it'd make an excellent study destroying birthday present. :D
*Heads off to download* Hopefully my computer will survive (been having issues lately :().
Day after my birthday. :D
So wait how do you show that you're tracking something? IE. How do you show a wishlist quest for Gamespot? EDIT: Nevermind, didn't realise that there was a page showing what you're tracking. :P
Umm when I tried this, it didn't seem to specify where the archived file was to be saved. Any idea where?
I personally don't understand all the Steam hate, especially the Civ fans who aren't willing to give it a go... I can understand not liking DRM, but to me Steam is probably the only type which I actually like with all the community stuff built around it etc...
Yes! Can't wait to see the actual graphics in action. :D
I hope the extra effort pays off in the end. This is shaping up to be a great game. ^_^
OK I originally downloaded the Elemental Beta on a laptop while I didn't have my computer was away. Now I have it back and I was wondering whether it would be possible to move the files from the laptop to my desktop through a shared drive. I tried doing so, but I couldn't find the install files. Any ideas? Thanks! :)
I love Steam and have no issue, 2K DRM all their games and Steam is the best and least annoying type of DRM for me so I don't really mind or care. :P
Really? Those aren't really anymore help than the manual IMO...
Same here, would make the most sense IMO.
Will th tutorial be a part of the campagin so to speak, or will it be seperate? Personally I found that the Sins of a Solar Empires tutorial would have benifited from being intergrated with the rest of the game a bit better and I was wondering how it would work in Elemental. :)
This is the best philosophy to have IMO. Much better for us when the developer/publisher isn't pressured by being a business. ^_^
I like these ideas. Dragon marker sounds cool as it would indeed make for some epic moments... I don't understand though how raising a dragon without being able to recruit it as such would work? Would it give you an IOU and leave and grow up, or would it just be yours?
Hmm seems like we should be getting some good options. I like the idea of the quests leading to being able to ride/control dragons. I do hope that we get like elemental dragons or something... Maybe be able to affiliate a dragon with an element if you have it as an egg or something?
Will Dragons differ in type depending on stuff like elements, factions, locations etc...? Sounds pretty cool though. ^_^
There's a dragon on the cover and the Lore section of the website mentioned them as their own thing, but I was wondering how exactly dragons will fit into the world in this game. Can you control them, or are they always wild NPCs or something?
Check in the settings that "Show Beta Games" or something is ticked. :)
Is the campaign story taking place from the point of view of a specific race?
Not sure if this counts as something that needs to be mentioned, but when I tried to click the "Quest" tab in the Kingdoms thing the game crashed and gave me the "fantasy turn based strategy game is not working" thing.
