Well, with my new system, I've had alot more chance to play the game. I must be one of the lucky Windows 7, 64-bit, ATI card guys, because I have all the visual settings on the highest, and visually everything is moving fine, and I am getting very few crashes. I probably have not gotten as far into the game as many, but I have gotten pretty far. I haven't gotten far enough to really big cities yet, but no stutters at all, things are running smooth as silk so far, a far cry from where I was with my old system. I do have a pretty good processor as well though now. I'll let you know the FPS the next time I play.

Just got a new system with an ATI HD 5750... the game runs amazingly now on all graphics turned up to the top.. What a difference... I can play it now!

Ahh... I didn't see this thread when I posted earlier on the other thread. Glad to see it's not just me with the performance issues. Stardock, love what you are doing here and the game has monumental potential. But this really needs to be a priority over AI, spells enhancements and really everything else. The game needs tp be stable and playable otherwise nothing else matters (not to quote Metallica).

It's great to see the fixes coming. But I have to agree with many others above, the performance is just too choppy, making it unplayable, especially after playing for a while, it gets much worse. Hope this can get addressed otherwise I'll be shelving the game, which I really don't want to do.

Thanks Stardock team for the work you are putting into this. I too believe you should focus on the technical issues, especially performance, before anything else. I am finding the graphics very choppy, even on low settings... simply having a team of adventures move across the screen is quite choppy, and after playing for about 45 minutes, it gets alot worse to the point where it is unplayable and I have to exit the game and restart it. I just started the game yesturday, not for long, but looks great. I think we all expect that a game of this magnitude would have issues, but the attention and care (and speed of responsiveness) that Stardock is giving this game is impressive.
