I had the same problem and it was driving me mad. Disconnecting an extra joystick and gamepad I had lying around fixed the problem for me. For now.. Maybe that helps, if more information is required I will gladly provide it.

I can say this issue has been seen in both of the online games I played with a friend of mine. We recently picked up the game and are having a blast. Its good fun to set up games against a whole bunch of AI which can last for hours.. Our previous game has lasted about 8 hours and the desync happened once or twice there. It was easily fixed there by loading a autosave game. Now we are in a much bigger game and after about 6 hours of play, desync again and its hard to decide
are you saying that if i bought the song forim itunes, i can get it in an mp3 format so i can put it on my non-ipod mp3 player and not have to worry about problems with playing the song? basically can i just get an mp3 and use it when and wherever?
Yup, thats exactly what I'm saying. Its a little bit of a trick to know how to transfer it from the Itunes format to MP3 though. But basically you purchase a song there,

I kinda like ITunes, no more DRM on their music and if you dont want to pay for a whole album, just download the songs you want. And I dont really think they ask too much for their music either. EDIT: btw, I only use it to get the music, then I convert them to MP3's (possibe within ITunes) and just use mediaplayer and its library. So far has the best performance for me. ITunes as a music playing program pisses me off.. especially when in game, it always causes lagspikes

Indeed, it is the same for everyone. :D Its a pity that there's only a few days to use it. But considering some people are not able to use it within this timeframe its not really the best thing Stardock could do I suppose.. But I appreciate the extra discount :) You wont hear me complaining. The Paypal problem is funny though.. maybe contact support? [e digicons]:borg:[/e]

Half naked? :D you call that half naked? :) Anyways yeah, I'm having a good time with the game. And I dont mind playing customs, so I usually get games going without much of a problem. [e digicons]:jafo:[/e]

Casual gamers can play the custom games fine no? :) I'd say go for it! The game is already a blast in singleplayer and bar a few minor experiences I have had plenty of fine games online too.

Thanks for the update FB, keep it up! :) Its always an interesting read. And as said before in here, just ignore the ignorant.. ( [e digicons]B)[/e] ) They most likely dont take the time to read before posting. And just keep banging away at those problems till they go away. Fixing up Demigod is the only way to silence the ignorant also. ;)

You cant proof anything so now Stardock has to provide tools? What tools do you need when people already posted plenty of possible scenario's you might have run into, did you actually read any of the proper responses to your wild claim of cheating? Time for you to have a better look at the game and properly check your facts before posting again...

Lol, that someone actually bothers to spend time on starting three minute games so often.. But I thought I read somewhere that Stardock was getting rid of this nonesense, probably coming soon.

Dunno, I like the speed of the game. Its "relaxing" in a way. I dont need another twitchy mouseclick fest. And in combat I think the reflexes do have to be decent already to get the better of another player. Also, this game is not about the relfexes I think. More about making choices about where to go, what tactic to use etc. Not who can click the special abilities the quickest.... But of course if others share your opinion, go play on quicker speeds with them.
Ah good idea. Stardock should buy the Supcom IP off of THQ. But what about Supcom 2 being released by Square Enix? Do they now own the IP?
Good question, my guess though is that the IP, or at least the rights, for the first game are still in THQ's hands, otherwise we would have seen the patch a long time ago already. You'd think the IP of supcom and supcom 2 are the same thing though [e digicons]:S[/e]

Man, there's too much Dota slang in the first post [e digicons]8C[/e] , probably just tells it all. Dunno, for me Demigod is a fun game to jump into.. I dont have many hours a week to game, so I enjoy the few hours I do get on Demigod, but other games also. I've seen no boring game yet and I've only played one Demigod as well. Maybe the problem lies in trying to play a game to death? Which a more casual game, like demigod, is not meant for? It sure is a game that

They do? [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] Explain yourself! I want Brad to tell GPG to release the FA patch. And by the sound of it, he needs to buy the rights of of THQ to get to that point. [e digicons][/e]

comanoodle, although you are right to complain about a deleted post without any reason given or explanation afterwards, I still think you're blowing things out of proportion in relation to the issues you mention. For one, you assume its as easy as you say, that stardock is taking care of connectivity and GPG of other stuff, but this is not true. As you can read from Frogboy's updates, GPG is also coming up with new builds in relation to the connectivity stuff. As I said in a r

Good explanation one again! :) Keep up the good work there at Stardock and of course GPG! Personally, I just enjoyed another 2v2 custom game without problems and it was a blast! :) It does sound like things are moving in the good direction, so for those with problems: Hang in there! Its worth the wait. ;)

Comanoodle, most of the issues you mention in that list are most likely connected to the multiplayer problems that still persist. Personnally, having played quite a bit of singleplayer, I have not noticed any crashes and no problems properly commanding the demigod.. maybe the one where they insist to attack some silly little guys while they should get the hell out, but that's only a minor delay when you give them the order again. Multiplayer lag probably blows the problem up bec

Played some games online tonight (In the Netherlands), had no problem finding some decent games, played, two 3v3 and one 2v2. Had only one lag spike and one player dropping in the three games. So my first online experience went fairly smoothly. ;)
I definitely see where the OP is coming from. Demigod is not a very flashy or visually interesting game. It lacks the "wow" abilities and massive carnage you would expect from super powerful beings doing battle. Most of the high level powers and items are simply invisible stat increases or passive additions. Instead of epic confrontations late game, you have demigods zipping around like Benny Hill, swinging a weapon every 0.40 seconds. Far fr
