god I can't stress enough the need for the AI to clear forests, they are really hampered by them.
EternalRequiem
then you need to look at this link https://forums.elementalgame.com/397668 it's also listed at the bottom of the OP
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Hopefully Gamestop can solve this problem.
don't hold your breath, I expect someone to eat their socks when Gamestop does diddly squat
I dont know why but when i go to the city build menu to build a building, there are all these empty slots there. It just has an empty build slot, several of them. I must have installed something incorrectly?
you using a custom faction or Sov?
Nice, can't wait to see more
lol all I see is... [e digicons]>:([/e] and [e digicons]X([/e] going on here now suddenly. Granted it's only a few people doing it. Things were changed or taken out for a reason. One of them was to balance the game others... well you can look at previous patch notes to see the reasons for why things were taken out you know.
You could... always RUN from the fight ya know.
Organized trait was removed several patches ago... haters gonna hate... is all I will stay to the above post
Noticed something the AI doesn't do, and that's cut down forests near it's settlements to make room for expanding. When the AI doesn't cut forests down it hampers it's ability to expand it's settlements to their full potential. If said settlement is surrounded on all sides by forests this severely hampers their ability to expand because they can't build on anymore tiles once they run out of space.
happens to me every few weeks
There's also the fact that things that are brought into FE as you've said might actually bleed over and find it's way into WOM. If I recall you made some posts about that Brad.
i am making about 150 $ per turn as of now and usually have around 20000 in the treasury so i could definitely afford it. i would also like to see the ability to form teams and squads with old individual soldiers as well. its not like its impossible to learn to work in a unit of 3 men or 6 or 12 lol. it would save me a lot of time.
I'd love to form teams/units with individuals that I first built in the beginning of the first turns
that or it has reached the ears of the devs but they put that on the to do list and it's quite far down on it. Developers do read the threads you know just sometimes they keep quiet and not comment.
by turn 100 or more you might have enough resources to actually afford the upgrades. Depends though... how many do you actually build? I usually only build one unit of each troop I make. I don't make any more troops then I have to unless I am at war and need more troops to defend my settlements.
most likely there will be more things listed once the patches get released. They only give us so much to drool over, if they gave us anymore we'd likely turn into this guy.
It's called variety if you don't like it... then tough, means you need to get out more and try new things :p
Education as a whole though Tharios seems to be the red headed step child that keeps on getting beaten to a pulp by every state. States keep taking away funding from education. When was the last time the government acted on behalf of education as a whole? From my stand point over the past few years education has suffered more and more due to funding being taken away and allocating it to other places where it isn't needed. And our country says the youth is the future of the country

In terms of this... Time is Money. The more money and resources that get pooled towards space exploration and colonization the faster we'll get into space and gain the benefits of said exploration.
Very good view Sin, very good indeed, you basically put out what I think all the time into actually words people can understand and read XD
If only the map editor had a magnifying option that allowed you to view the WHOLE map on the screen at the same time no matter the size of the map.
the map is a bit too big to get it in one shot now ;) since it was made with elementerra 1.2 it's one of those 160x160 maps which is a 10x10 map. Trust me I have tried, and I've also tried to combine the separate pics into one large one but I seem to screw up every time. I'm terrible when it comes to that sort of stuff lol
Okay, I've tried this numerous times and I just can't seem to get it. I'm trying to take screenshots, usually two since the screen seems be be able to do this. I want to get screenshots of the map so I can combine them into one large picture without errors but I can't seem to do it. Maybe someone with more experience in the matter can? I've provided a download of the map http://www.mediafire.com/?ilip77yilhrgia6
Yeah that's what RC stands for AlLan, "release candidate"
Actually WebGizmos, read some of the stories about people who settled the wilderness in pre-industrial times or paleontologists accounts of what it was like for humans in the Ice Age. You wouldn't think it was possible they made it. Now those wildernesses are "nations" building computers and figuring out the mysteries of the universe. Of course you can get clobbered anywhere you go--the idea is to try to position yourse
