Why not buy it direct from Stardock and then activate it on Steam (which is what I have done for all the DLC) Stardock price $4.99 = £3.10 (or €3.67) here in the UK as opposed to the Steam price of £3.99
It's amazing to me that DLC is one of those things that trigger massive uncontrolled internet nerd-rage. If you don't want it, don't buy it. If you want some premade maps and new stamps to enhance your random maps buy it. If you feel like supporting Stardock some more, buy it. It's not like they're charging people for key content. They're f'ing maps and stamps. Otherwise, g
This came up before here https://forums.elementalgame.com/434114 , as a PS to this I've also been able to scroll the tac map from native desktop res. Are you sure you have Edge Scroll enabled in the options ?
Just tried the post_hdr file mentioned in post #2 and #9 and that seems to have fixed it for me even at 2X AA and 4X AA
Double post !
I was having similar bluriness with the city name and production text, I found that setting the anti aliasing in the games main display options menu to none made a significant difference, from your screenshot you seem to have it set at 2x.
Adding my voice to the chorus. Happy with the idea of DLC for FE just not interested in a map pack. Given all of the posts above if you do go ahead with the Map Pack DLC please don't judge the popularity or willingness to buy DLCs for FE on its sales.
I tend to agree with Kanamura_CZ specifically in regard to transparency. I don't in principle mind the AI playing to different rules. However the rules it is playing to need to be clear and transparent to me the player. Without transparency how do I know that something I see the AI doing that differs from the rules that I am aware of is not a bug, in fact without the information to be aware that this is WAD I have to assume it is a bug. To quote enoeraew37 Opening post of the thread "Salted pork is a create, cheap item to use to heal your champs instead of going Life tree..but pork isnt kosher/Halal and thus I cant use it . Please change this so the items are culturally acceptable to every player. THanks" Reply #3 "I didnt say its offensive.
Can we all agree that the devs should add salted meat and some everlasting vegetable of unknown origin as early healing items? And keep salted pork
No, if you want to change your game then you can easily do so (as can anyone else that wishes to). I would personally find it rather offensive if I had to add religious patches to my game.

They still should change it for the people who dont mod/have helpful forum people to rescue them do you ever kill people with your champ. because i dunno arent there commandments or something that say you cant kill?
On thinking this through further I've come to realise that I am morally offended by the colour blue. Can we change all the graphics containing the offensive colour or its hue to something more culturally sensitive to me.
From reading a previous thread started by the OP https://forums.elementalgame.com/425850 it may be that he/she is not only concerned that his/her hero is eating pork (a very simple solution to which heavenfall has allready supplied) but that our heroes are munching away on virtual pork.
Odd, in tactical combat (as with the strategic map) I've got edge of screen scrolling across the whole of the battlefield. Only change I have made to a clean 1.0 install is to set the following in the "mygames/fallen enchantress/prefs.ini" (so that I could run full screen at less than native resolution) UseDesktopResolution=0 Fullscreen=1 Which may or may not be the reason I've been able to edge scroll. P.S. I
Same exact thing here. It consistently happens when you try to move your sovereign onto the iron deposit.
Exactly the same thing here. Had a couple more goes at the tutorial and the crash only (but consistently) happens if I move parallel to or east of the iron deposit. Avoided moving east until the pioneer was built (and the objective of building the mine came up)
That worked. Thanks for the very rapid reply.

My monitor res is 1920x1080 however I'd prefer to run the game full screen at a lesser res so as to have a larger interface (as I do with Gal Civ II) however when I select a lower res in the options and then restart the game it will only display as a fixed res window rather than full screen.
No Just not interested in multiplayer and money isn't the only resource that would be used to make multiplayer happen it would also take the development teams time (both in creating and supporting), time which I would much much rather be spent improving and adding to the single player experience.
