Getting back to the thread topic, any hint yet when we might be seeing a beta for Bootskin Vista. Haven't heard a word on it lately.

Maybe since a lot of these release dates have passed, you could give us an idea when we should be seeing some beta releases.

Whenever my wife tries to use any of the Object Desktop programs, she gets the folling message - "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item." She has full administative privledges. Any help would be appreciated.
Can't get other user with administrative privlages to access any of the Object desktop programs. Only the user it was installed under is granted access.
Ever since installing WB5, I giet a buffer overrun error from the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library when I try to start DX. I have uninstalled and rebooted both WB5 and DX to no avail.
Is a news group being set up or is their a place to discuss problems, suggestions, ect. about BootSkins?
Too bad someone can't come up with a prog like this for us poor folks on Win 2000 who don't see enough benefit to upgrade to XP. I really love some of the new logon screens. Ours is just soooo boring.
Can't seem to get bitstrip to save BMP's from animated GIF's on my Win2000 machine. Does anyone have any suggestion for converting animated GIF's to filmstrip BMP's so they can be used for IE throbbers?
