Superweapons aren't as good as they sound because their abilities are very narrow and complex. The novalith cannon can only bombard planets by 2500 points, or maybe 3000, w/e. 2/3 shots and it's out (excluding the cooldown effect).Then we have the Kostura cannon which is rich in jamming weapons, disabling planetary works, etc. Can't really do anything effective, even if people find it useful it only works for a matter of time, you'd need at least one per planet to make it effective. Basically, my TEC fleet has invaded an Advent planet and their fleet immediately escaped to the next adjacent planet, and im thinking, 'hmmm maybe il just wait for their counter attack, and just stay at the ready'. my best one was 25 x Cielo Command Cruisers 20 x Kodiak's 20 x Percheron's 30 x LRM's 30 x Cobalt's 25 x Flak's 5 x Kol's 2-3 x Sova's 1 x Battlecruiser It varies with your fleet limitations. On small maps i only go up to 48% upkeep, there's no point in more, on mid's its around the 60's, but i'd max it out anyway ;))
