Wow, that Anthys map looks Awesome show, Great job!

Indeed, I couldn't believe this feature was left out. I kept thinking maybe I just hadn't noticed how to access it yet. But, apparently there really is no high scores table that the game maintains.
I imagine this has been said already, but I think this dead horse needs to be beaten some more regardless. I think the Dragonlord must have been hit hard with the nerf bat at some point in the beta, because it sounds like he was actually fairly challenging based on the ancient thread I found on him from back in February. As he is now, he's a complete push over for the sort of army typically brought against him late game. The stun effect he has on melee attackers and his fire breat
It's just a bug that apparently has managed to make it past 1.01. I hadn't tried shrink on a jugg in the new version yet myself.
Yep, I did pretty much the same myself. I don't see a problem with not having in game sovs for them. It encourages the player to mess with the custom sov feature. My Umber sov is a bandit lord instead.
They ought to at least correct the description if nothing else. If you want to go a step further, how about reducing the cool down on freeze? Seeing that it only immobilizes for 1 season, 5 season cd is pretty bad.
Well taking another look at it, I think the game does have some sort of very basic ww feature in it for the AI in terms of what it accepts for peace. In the game I'm currently playing I've been in a stalemate war with Pariden and Gilden for many seasons now. Last time I checked (several turns ago) they both were below -2000 or so for peace negotiations. Now they're around -500 or so which is at least manageable. My guess is it's simply a #turns since war started functi
The AI seems to overestimate its war power in comparison to the player. I don't think anything can be done about that though, as its more or less a function of the player's ability to do more with less. So with that said, imo it's a problem from the standpoint of the mid-late game (post world war period) being fun that the ai will continue to wage a stalemate war until the end of time. The ai doesn't get bored of fighting the same battle 10 times over 40 or so seasons
Assuming it's this straight forward, it looks like an easy fix. Hopefully this gets included in the upcoming patch.
IIRC it offers higher attack potential than defender and the ability to wear heavier armor than assassin provides. I wouldn't try to argue that it's generally better than either of the other options, but there are probably some circumstances where it might be more useful. I thought it also allows for some offensive general type abilities too, like tactics/leadership. I might be wrong on that though.
The yields are already better than what is typically found, and there are also already going to be plenty of special yields like gold deposits available. I do agree that by the time you can claim them, the settling part of the game has become somewhat pointless. It's kind of similar to colonizing Orion back in MOO2. The nice thing that game offered was that besides just a really nice planet, you also received several unique techs for clearing the guardian. So, maybe make the yield
The spell is supposed to cut attack in half; not completely nullify it. I used it to make the desert wildlands Boss (crusher of mountains...) more manageable. It appeared to work correctly against him, as he still had an attack strength around 40-50 post shrink spell. I had a big battle against the Trog faction later though, and it was way OP against the Juggernauts. Admittedly, I went ahead and abused it to turn what would have otherwise been a pretty rough fight into a cake walk (trogs are
^Thanks, I just checked it and sure enough there is my cheesy story. I guess it's not as big a problem as I thought then.
Yep, I've had the same thing happen to me. It was really annoying too, because I spent a good 10-15 minutes thinking up this intricate backstory on the fly for my custom noble sovereign. I was wondering if it didn't stick because I clicked "save" instead of "next". In hindsight I should have typed it up in word beforehand and copy/pasted it. Alas my story about Lady Luna's father getting murdered by a fallen magician and her quest for revenge resulting in her reali
I have been at war with Oracle Ceresa in a game recently. She has come charging at a smaller army of mine I used to conquer one of her outposts, so I figured I would see how powerful she was before deciding to fight or run. I found out the AI has gone to town using a spell like familiar or Destiny's gift(?) that costs a sovereign max HP. As a result she only has 4 HP now. She only has 2 settlements too. So, her faction is severely handicapped for the remainder of the game. I notic
