+1 on the pioneer's costing population; the insane amounts of them that fill the world gets to ludicrous speed faster than you can say "Make it stop!" And don't get me started on the monsters ignoring pioneers... in my latest game, an AI pioneer walked right past an army of drakes, then set up a city; and is still there after 20 turns. Makes me wonder how much Irene is paying them off with..

Heh, yeah, as it currently stands, accuracy and dodge are fairly unbalanced mechanics; either some values are too high, or others too low. The 10% base chance of hit/dodge to all is a good idea; I thought they carried that over from WoM and the appearance of 138% chance to hit was a statistical anomaly which the combat engine disregarded. The current trait as it stands is remarkably powerful when you can unlock it at lv5 - equivalent to 2 levels in dodge, and it keeps getting better and better as you level up. However, it has the slightly amusing effect of rendering a melee with any character with it an experience in hammertime; can't touch this.. at level 7, you can reliably solo dragons, and at 10 the elemental lords are jokes. I suggest either reducing it's stat power to either +1 per level (m

The most likely scenario is that Kraxis is using the diplomacy power on Ophidian's he has fought; best to check and see if this is the case/possible is to roll a diplomat avatar and see if the power is affecting both mobs and troops. (I have yet to roll as a diplomat; being a beastlord and tearing towns a new one with my wild armies is just too much fun.)

Extreme slow-down in any battle where either party has a berserker blade; slow down is ~10 secs, after which the game either crashes or jitters for a bit before resolving the round of combat.
