I was hunting around for the (I think) final enemy when I got an "Out of Memory" error oops... lost the screenshot when i made the debug.err dump: http://pastebin.com/m22b4e81a In any case I had been playing for quite a while, and had a few odd things going on Of note I was also very close to -10000 gold.

Here are a couple more examples: http://screencast.com/t/YWB5Uz7N5m Note that in this case I could not attack the spider, I moved into hte location and clicked on the spider picture, showing the red bounding box on top of my current location. http://screencast.com/t/r0WCNdnjGv
Saw this a couple times: When first selecting a unit (when either no unit was previously selected, or soverign was selected) clickign on a scout and selecting auto-move resulted in the error: directive canceled: http://screencast.com/t/vM1byyUk3KRV This would happen each time auto-move was selected.
Ran into this a couple times, Tried to attack the enemy however nothing happened. Try clicking on the unit and the bounding box shows up a little ways away: http://screencast.com/t/oWgtrbXQ If I attack the bounding box then the fight ensues. Note winning this battle does remove the figure.
Confirmation, does it on all of these resarches that reach 9X% and then 'stop' demanding 'just one more turn' every turn... enough repeats of turns and it 'finishes' with a "Agriculture: Never" note. http://screencast.com/t/3ssaRlnB
Got the same effect 2 minutes later with Housing research: http://screencast.com/t/7W5Ty7x2Ri It was at 98% and I kept ending the turn over and over and after 3-5 turns it changed from 1 turn to complete to :Never It then showed the above in the research screen.
I am not sure if things are supposed to keep recycling at hte maximum research or not... I kept having research hit 97-99% and never 'finish'. I wasnt sure if this meant I was getting mini bonuses for 'still researching' something or not. However when I researched Civilization for a bit.. to get the prestige bonus the progress bar went all whacky http://screencast.com/t/lxLFrQLGk When I selected another re
Moving along with a destination 10 or so squares away. Clicking end turn a few times... i suddenly got this error: http://screencast.com/t/PQoqHT6Bja It didnt do anything wrong as far as I can tell, I kept moving along when I pressed OK.
It seems like roads will only build from one direction between two towns... Or that the road has to be started from BOTH towns to actually start building.
Some of these have been noted in other places... 1) no build locations on map in city view 2) no map in upper right hand corner of screen 3) when I went to take this screen shot-> note i kind of ramble.. but i dont want to miss anything in what i did... alt-printscreened, Alt-Tabbed, pasted in paint, opened task manager (killed Jing which i couldnt find), started jing, opened game back up to take new screenshot and the screen was black - music still pla

I love this idea! It might take certain scenarios (the only guy left from a fight or something)... but its so ORGANIC!!! I think that when games feel like they grow organically.. naturally... it really helps with the immersion factor. Something like having an experience scale... because yes EVERY guy should have his own XP!! (we have plenty of memory these days) Then when some kind of special event happens a guy 'becomes' a hero...
I definetly think that you should be able to direct your research.... How much does it suck to be trying to research an offensive spell (I am researching fire here....) and then you end up with something that you didn't really want--- Wall of fire... Its nice and all.. but now you have to start out again trying to research. That always feels like a let down. I do like the random chance of success though. Both MOO2 and MOM had this element. each
