This is a partial secondary effect of the AI not having tactical mana, which used to be in E:WoM and was removed, for somereason I still do not completely understand. With two distinct mana pools you would completely avoid the issue of strategic mana sucking up all your mana for tactical spells and vice versus. This is something I would like to see be able to be re-added. As it is we can not re-add a tactical mana supply until some more functionality is unlocked for the engi

This honestly seems the best course of action in the long run and would make point choices worthwhile. You would just have to make the repeatable stat increase choices not grey out after use. Then its either raise a stat point or take a skill. This would make it an important choice.

I am liking this idea, though it doe sound rather ghoulish and might be a Death Magic spell only or maybe black quagmire ish.

The problem lies within the expectations that the way the game portrays most weapons is sort of correct. I can tell you I have probably spent about 40 hours doing independent research for armors and weapons to figure out how to apply how they actually work for a weapons armor mod that reflects this. What I listed above is how they were used and how to apply this in game. If you are making suggestions to my suggestion you are trying to balance what is in game, I am suggesting

I have to agree here but going to take it a little farther; Spears need to lose armor pierce but gain bonus damage to cavalry. Axes should gain an armor pierce but lose accuracy. Blunt should gain a higher armor pierce than axes and also an armor destruct/reduction per hit instead of bash. Make bash a trainable trait that requires a shield or blunt. Swords are fine this way without separate damage types. If separate damage types are&nbsp

Global mana is fine for strategic spell use; however, for tactical spell it does not make a lick of sense. I understand that individual mana was a means of preventing rampant magic use in tactical combat but the replacement of that with cooldown timers and by late game almost unlimited mana use is not fun. When the npc factions have no concept of mana usage and can go negative to infinity this does not equal balanced at all.

As someone who has dug through the code a great deal I can tell you the ability to make most of that happen again is there but does not work directly because the executable restricts it in its current form. Here are a list t of a few things that work, some that sort of work, and those that don't at all. Alright works with the current code; Option to retreat is still in the game it just has to be readded back into each tactical map there is also the escape spell which

I would absolutely LOVE if we could reimplement stats to go with skill trees to make the skills about SKILLS not about stats. Make the general tree be about spell skill level ups and the general traits be repeatable stat point investments.

That depends if you are being asked to testify to a committee concerning funding whether a project has met the merits of society or not and are quizzed over varying information that is usually not included in a project report. People tend to still ask for it in person because people like to know those facts even though they are most times not quantifiable.

I can recite most of the information pertaining to how renewable energies interplay on the electrical grid and the socio-political effects of renewable energies on society. That does not mean it is in general better than knowing where to look to find the information except to show off that you know the information. That is unless that information is needed in an extreme time scenario, doctors, nurses, and first responders, this is where time matters. When time is less releva

I like the idea of more armies if I was rewarded for the effort of defeating them properly but that is a separate issue from the one here. A highly mobile force, should be able to at least advance to the place they just won at and claim what they won instead of losing it to someone who was sitting on the sidelines until the fighting is done.

Then we are in agreement that memorizing tons of stuff just for an exam is fairly useless whereas having an exam with material to use but you must apply your knowledge is a much better test.

But there a major difference between idactic memory which could fail eventually without knowing it is failing and knowledge memory in which you know something exists and understand conceptually how it works and use reference materials so your exact measurements are correct. Speed over accuracy which is more important?

HW1 Campaign was amazing and it is still a fun challange except for the fact of beating it so many times I know what happens when so I can meta game it pretty hard [e digicons]XD[/e] . I do hope they make something to rival or equal that experience.

I have no idea why they do not have overpower already as if anything should have them it would be catapults.

It would be better in my opinion to scale lower level spells slower, and yes this function is in game already. Just set it that level 1 spells gain 1 damage on top of their base value every 4 or 5 levels level 2 spells gain one every 4 levels and so on. This way only the level 5 spells gain the most power per levels but then to balance them you just reduce the initial damage since the earliest someone can get spell level 5 is at level 9 so just drop the base by 9 and done. I was VERY tired when I wrote this and have since woken up to read my tirade [e digicons]:D[/e] . I do agree about knowledge not coming easy but I looked over her test prep stuff compared to mine and it was insanely ridiculous in comparison for the sheer volume. I tip my hat to my wife for sticking through it and finishing though.

I understand that college finals are a good evaluation of whether concepts are understood and I agree with this; however, I do no agree with making a final comprehensive over so much material that it dwarfs the value of previously covered material such it initial tests become irrelevant. This makes it not a test of knowledge rather a test of memory. This is not a great way to increase confidence or inspire others to learn its a way to weed out those that have lower memory pot

So why not just make combat eat 2 strategic movements such that if an army has 3 movement it has 1 left and if it has 4 initial movement it has 2 left. This way it balances moving into an area, one movement value, the fight itself, another movement point, that leaves the remainder for where you are standing.

Money, it does strange things to businesses as well as people, they could just be greedy. My opinion here is that more likely someone who is higher up in the game studios really liked the Homeworld series and wants to make something with it to call their own.
