I would love to have the original WoM back with the updates. It had a unique feel that is not covered by FE or LH. Much more Empire management with food/population management and in my opinion a better base system for the RPG growth (Stats /Encumbrance / Separate Talent Points ).

I can verify this from a while ago when I created some additional tiers for loot. I set all the loot for each tier to the same values and ended up with a greater loot diversity.

I have been to faire stores where they will charge lower prices as it directly affects them how much they get charged for credit card usage rates. Larger stores just absorb the cost and raise general prices to compensate. Also at smaller stores you can haggle using cash versus larger stores will tell you the price is the price and tell you to politely take a walk if you try to haggle, at least most of the time.

I absolutely LOVE Battle For Middle Earth. It has been very hard for me to find a game equal to its complexity and enjoyability. If the new game is anything similar to this in gameplay, size, complexity I am all in for it. Sign me up.

The simple fix would be to reduce the penalty to trained armies and champions give to fighting one another. Right now if I remember correctly when two armies fight they only give 1/10 th the xp they normally should. My suggestion is reduce the penalty to maybe 1/2 thereby increasing the total xp available at the mid to later stages of the game.

I agree that the XP split should be done away with in general and remove the xp nerf from fighting AI armies. The problem comes from the fact that once the easy xp is gone from your area, assuming the AI is also clearing their areas, there is nowhere to get xp from. I know that the wildlands are left to clear, but once again if the AI is clearing like it should be those will be gone too leaving just the AI armies. This is the problem from the Human to AI army battles that go

Glad to hear our thoughts are valued. I for one, and I am sure many others here, appreciate it!

I applaud this effort but I have to slightly disagree with how you went about it. I personally think there are slightly too many choices and would actually simplify the choices to make it easier for the AI to stay competitive. My opinion on this problems is that there should ultimately be six city types based from the three current types and then make the final two level choices mean something. So from the town you would have two choices, money or food production.

I think he is referring to the fact that after the first rewarded champion all of the remaining champions already have their classes chosen, level 3 and above champions. He is looking for more level one champions so that he can make them the custom classes instead of just the original five.

Erm, we are all playing against the AI here. The point of a discussion like this isn't to sling words it's to make suggestions to fix the problems or come up with alternative solutions.

Well instead of class specific it may be better to make it trait specific. The only way to wear that heavy armor is to have heavy armor trait hence Warriors or Defenders. It could also be updated to have a hidden stat requirement that only Warriors or Defenders get when they are chosen. The same would then make different items available to different classes instead of only one.

That is probably one of the funnier things I have seen in a while. Thanks for the laugh.

Primal_Savage, this is exactly what I have been thinking or a long time but said much more simply. It also relates to abilities being a flat % based instead of a slowly growing ability. With abilities that have % based increases you can have uncontrolled growth due to multiple stacking. Or a lack of stacking and end up with static increases and only have a marginal effect in the long run.

Actually you can just make a new blood trait with that added in using the initial blood trait as a base. Unless you are trying to avoid that then I am not sure what you can do.

I thought you could set a trait to unlock when the unit is created to have a second trait as its prereq. So for instance Dummy_trait1 auto-unlocks when you have blood_altair trait.

Well, I am not exactly sure what your problem is, but there is the elemental.str file that you can edit a simple text editor that you can look at and maybe it holds your answer. Can you tell us what you are doing and maybe we can figure out if that is what you should be editing.

20 was the max squad size per square at least in FE and I think FE:LH, but as stated above it may be different following this upcoming patch.
