I agree that I think it would be more important to drop the tower and help out a lane that isn't going well. Getting some extra farm bot is good, but it doesn't really make up for hardcore zoning/underlvl/farm of another lane if you could help set up a gank. Hard to find good junglers sometimes.

I've actually been just getting into Kog since he is free this week. 4 PDs on anyone shouldn't happen. He had to have been insanely fed/farmed to even afford that, assuming the game didn't drag on. AD Kog is usually a fairly typical Ranged DPS build: AS Boots, Inf Edge, PD, Last Whisper, BV, situational. I went 16-8-18 once I got the hang of him last night. Some people prefer to rush Madreds, but I think it is too expensive going into mid game. Late game vs warmog's wo
I was frustrated by that game as well and it is mainly from things that I don't think are that hard to fix. It's all about prioritizing and thinking in terms of the team. Clearing a creep wave only benefits you, unless the tower is getting hit hard. Killing the dragon gives the team 950 gold. If there looks like a fight could happen at the dragon, you should already be on your way there.Defending a low hp tower probably isn't going to help as much (although I'm guilty of that
@ Thundercles I haven't played Veigar too much, but landing the stun and dark matter alone can pretty much kill a squishy so that is always fun! That doesn't sound like a bad time for clearing re: WW. I find Stonewall's jungle vids pretty helpful when I'm trying to learn new champs. Also, is your username on LOL the same as here? @pacov <p
Well the tool tip says this: Event Horizon - Veigar twists the edges of space around the target location for 3 seconds, stunning enemies who pass through the perimeter for a short duration. Veigar twists the edges of space around the target location for 3 seconds, stunning enemies who pass through the perimeter for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds.
I will add you Darkliath. I don't mind if you make mistakes as long as you learn from them :) I'm not going to pretend that I don't make mistakes. I play Taric and Janna a lot so if you have any questions about them, feel free to ask. @ Thundercles I don't think those are bad choices at all. Nunu can be pretty strong in lane too fr
Excited by the mastery changes. I like that there are some geared towards supports (+starting gold, gold/10). I think those along with receiving more $ for assists could encourage a bit less passivity with the bot meta. The new cleanse and surge/promote should shake things up a bit too, although Trynd with cleanse could be brutal! I'm a little surprised these are going into the next patch. Could be a rough week for stability. I was 3/6 last night. Lots of trolling. Would lov
MOM was the first computer game I ever bought actually. I played a near release copy of it and I remember it crashing constantly, causing no shortage of frustration. I would save the game every couple of minutes. It didn't stop me from loving the game then, but I doubt I would be so forgiving now. Then again, patching is a much more streamlined process now (mostly). We have much higher expectations from games. I remember making a sandwich during the 7 floppy disk install which took over a
You park on a driveway and drive on a parkway. You say PIN Number, yet you are actually saying Personal Identification Number number.
To me the upgrades give an opportunity for more unique heroes. Heroes were my favourite part of MOM because they had personality to them and every game they could potentially have different attributes. Traits unique to certain heroes would be great to see. Also, different hero power classifications that scale with the game(basic/advanced/legendary) These could be unlocked by tech/quest lvls or specific events/spells/reqs
I enjoy support and tanking in general, although it is thankless, unless you make a really obvious good save. I often sacrifice myself for the greater good and people don't realize there could have been 2 or more deaths if I didn't. I also play Taric and Mao alot. Ashe and Lux are up there as well and Amumu if we are desperate for a jungle. I've had quite a bit of success bot with Janna and Graves. Knockup, dash, buckshot and a few AAs and that is quite a bit of dmg. Shie
I'm a little surprised we were able to win it. I died too much early game thanks to that Annie. She had over 1800 wins! Not even sure how that is possible. Fiddle had a few devastating ults on us. Cho is a pretty weak ganker when he doesn't land that knockup. It's hard to get good comps with randoms.
@ Pacov Those were some lopsided games! Stupid AD Sion... @ -Ue_Carbon I love Maokai, but his ult is definitely hard to use. Sometimes I focus it more on my own team for the 20% dmg reduction or judge if the team fight is going to be retreating or moving forward. How do you build him?
[quote who="pacov" reply="425" id="3021500"] I don't quite understand, though. I think I get this at least: you are saying that I have to play 10 games before I get an elo... so you answered my main question. What I don't get is that how a person with 1250+ can only have 1 game. Is it some sort of carry over from when they last played (prior to a stat reset or something)? Are you saying if I just destroy a team and get like 30 kills and 0 deaths, tha
Cool! I'm quite active so I will be on tonight I'm sure. I actually started LOL on Twisted Treeline. The problem with it for me is that you are fairly limited in which champs you will have success with. Basically you have to play tanky/dps or play very passively in my experience. I had some fun with it, but I feel that SR offers more gameplay possibilities. Also, if you have one bad player you have absolutely no chance of winning. In SR it is a little more forgi
Hi there, Long time lurker here who happens to love to play LOL. I'm sick of solo queue and was hoping to build up a few people to play with. I generally tank or support, but can play what is needed. I usually play normals, because solo ranked is just awful, but if we had a decent group of people I think we could rock ranked. I have played over 1000 games at this point so I have a decent amount of experience. Feel free to add me! Username: The Dude I
