Why is it bad that the Fed is closing down illegal filesharing sites??? Because it is another step closer to becoming a totalitarian state/society...run by politicians in the pockets of big business. When it makes various laws to be upheld it's one thing, but when government becomes law enforcement, not to mention judge, jury and executioner as well, then it's time to be afraid... very afraid. If you have more than your basic needs, and no, a $200k house isn't basic, basic shelter would be a one room hut with no glass in the windows, you're above what real poverty is. Redefining it every few years to put more filthy stinking rich people that have enough money to eat fast food and watch tv all evening does not make their situatio
My 17 year old son said it was awesome and my wife wanted to watch it, so it took 3 freaking days of visiting the local $1 a day box to get it. Which of course, meant when we stated to watch it after 8pm yesterday. my 8 year old daughter decided to want to come downstairs and hang out with us while we watched the movie. So, obviously, we stopped the movie because it is definitely R rated. So after tucking my daughter back into bed, we watched it on

Well I think you're right, but I'd argue that -unlike piracy- immigration is a very complex issue: why do people in the West deserve all these riches while the rest of the world has nothing? But on the other hand, letting everyone immigrate is both impractical and in most cases has negative side-effects.
https://forums.elementalgame.com/386513 This astounds me. This guy basically claimed that it is his *CONSTITUTIONAL* right to steal intellectual property from game developers. I know some people on this forum go absolutely apeshit on almost anything the government does but why is it in anyway bad that the american government is protecting honest businessowners from pirates? Oh and don'

I'm sorry but why would an autistic kid need this? Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't autistic mean something different? IIRC autistic children are just as smart as others(and usually smarter) although they have some issues with being independent, but they mostly have social problems not I can't dry myself after the shower problems. Obviously I don't have an autistic son, so you may know more about it.
If the enemy can use your roads (which is to be expected) then roads everywhere like in civ give you a huge disadvantage: the enemy can strike everywhere and avoid your army! This can be used as an automatic penalty for people who use an (over)extensive road network. From here it is only a small step to organic roads (with maybe an occasional hand-made road here and there for tactical purposes, like a mountain road(/tunnel?) to get your troops near the capital just a little faster).</
Has anyone read my suggestion?
I'm strongly in favour of a food-based solution too and I think Demiansky is on the right path, though I can see a lot more options open up. But more on that later. Right now the reviving of the land is actually promoting city spam instead of curbing it. The reason is that cities spread the reviving, so more cities means more land means more cities means more land, etc. My solution: 1. Cities do not heal the land. 2. Instead the player selects a tile and

OOOOOOOOOOR You can just use NUKES. Why the fuck does everyone need super Uber weapons that you dont even gonna use since nukes are enough to deter any large scale armed conflict(ie total war). Build a lofstrom loop please.
oh ok thats good to know, maybe ill try again. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
I really liked the concept of babylon 5 but couldn't bear more than 20 minutes before I wanted to gauch my eyeballs out. Not neccerially bad acting but very bad photography. Close-ups were shunned for some reason which made the whole thing totally undramatic.
Supreme Commander did this wonderfull but for one had a stockpile and two I don't think that was the only reason it's economy was so neat and three: using the recourse model of a sciencefiction game and putting into a fantasy model isn't always the best. Supcom had only 2 recourses and many of it's brothers and sisters do too(CnC starcraft sins).Fantasy games however usually have many more recources and Brad already said Elemental will have 30+

Someone on the internet asks for quest ideas. What do you do? Do you: 1. Ignore the poor fellow (decreases relations) 2. Try and give him some ideas (new quests) 3. Buy him off (- gold) 4. Let someone else do it for you ( new quest on how you want to make that person come up with ideas (torture etc) 5. quote other people ( - relations) 6. say the quest system is TERRIBLE and then don't say how it could be made better ( - r
