I find it bizarre that you decided to stay in that game when your teammate quit so early on. Most of us just accept our fate and concede if a teammate disconnects, cause 2v3 is usually hopeless. I mean what else did you expect? I tried my best not to farm the AI in that game but sometimes it's unavoidable, especially late game when the AI goes down in the matter of a few seconds. Of course my teammates weren't exactly accommodating to your request, but then again you
You will play more games and grow as a player instead of waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes with your team of four waiting for some poor pugs to walk in and get slaughtered.
That's kinda funny if you think about it, more so cause it happens all the time. Those poor, poor noobs. Seriously though... in most competitive activities, sports, games, etc., the best players/teams are routinely matched against each other to determine who is truly the most skilled.
-Reconnection (oh I dcced, my game crashed, and I can come back!) -PSR. HoN has a system in the UI that shows a number that trys to compute an overall persons skill. It works like Chess ratings where if you win against an equal team ur PSR goes up, if it doesn't it goes down. Basically you can tell if a game is a pub stomp simply by a % that is shown over each team (which is computed by adding up a teams total PSR). If one side shows 90% chance to win, and the other side s
The absence of ingame stats is ridiculous in this day and age, having to ALT-TAB and web search for your teammates and opponents stats is excruciating, so any update that helps us get fair games faster is very much needed and urgent and will be very much appreciated.
I find it shocking that anyone would think the addition of ingame stats check would be detrimental to the community. All players should have the right to know who they're playing against, the
Purposely trying to empty someone else's lobby is inexcusably bad behavior (though Kristar didn't seem to be doing it maliciously). However if the game title doesn't make it clear you're premade then the awkward question will inevitably be brought up at some point by players who've just joined, and I would hardly call such an inquiry 'griefing'. It probably doesn't help that everyone knows about your premade team at this point, at least the experienced players, so that may explain the
maybe the guy playing rook keeled over and died... you know, in real life. Or was attacked by space monkeys.
On behalf of the skilled online multiplayer Entrenchment community, I apologize for my friends' poor behavior and any poor behavior I might have exhibited.
I remember seeing you in the lobby, and I appreciate your response, though you were very polite and don't need to apologize for yourself. I understand that pros enjoy playing with each other, and I think part of the problem was that the lobby initially filled up with a few noobs in addition to good players, l
Perhaps a option to turn off chat would be great to, guess people are sick of some self appointed pro telling them how bad they are and not to die.
Instead of turning off chat, if you've got an overbearing personality on your team, just do the opposite of everything he says. At least it would make your experience more entertaining.
it happens in all RTS games not just Sins its been happening for years im quite surprised at your complaining doesnt really make much sense since you even said yourself make your own game also the so called Pros even use smurf accounts because no-one wants to play them so you have to see it from there point of aswell
I waited in that game lobby for 45 minutes, during which I chatted with the host and informed him of my inexperie
3. Might cause one team to be wholly unbalanced, since generally experienced players tend to check their teammates stats, and few want to play vs an avarage team with total beginners on their own side. This leads to the experienced player on the nub team to quit, which will repeat itself until the team consists entirely of nubs, further enforcing points 1 and 2.
This is so true. What's really aggravating is when the most experienced players in a game lobby stack o
... and not just because you're likely to get slaughtered by very experienced players. I've been a big fan of Sins since it first came out, but only ever played MP with friends over LAN. Lately I've really gotten into Demigod MP, even with all the premade vs. pug stomping that goes on. I've enjoyed it so much that I thought I might give Sins a try online. I've never ventured on to ICO for a real game before, perhaps cause I understood just how long the games
If there's one thing I absolutely hate about playing online games, it's smack talkers and rude players, whether on your own team or the other. I've encountered a few assholes in Demigod, but fortunately most of the Demigod community is pretty respectable. I keep a mental list of all the douchebags I've played with, so I can avoid them in future games. (the Hall of Shame is pretty useful as well) If someone on the other team is being a dick (and your team is losing), it's b
holy crap man you're pretty hardcore. Shit, if my heart were to explode in my chest i think i would play a few rounds of demigod before going to the hospital, in your honor.
you should probably refrain from interwebbing when you've misplaced your medication dude. just watching out for ya
Some thoughts of mine; you may want to avoid reading this QoT is OP. Please nerf her, like a lot. Shield + Shamblers + All Father Ring + illegal drugs = unstoppable noob pwnage. Regulus is a pussy. Maim him again, I say. Why do I have to go to the Citadel to make Citadel purchases? I should be able to buy currency upgrades when I'm dead and out of cash. Or the Citadel can come to me. Either way it needs to do more work.
HOLY FLAMING UTERUS OF MOTHER MARY i really need to cut back on the boozin my humblest apologies, sir knight
I'm the noob that runs away only after realizing my HP is below 25%. And then I die. Or a miracle happens. So running away with full HP... well I guess they're slightly better noobs than the AI.
