Are the farm bonus tiles useless? in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

So I have these planets with farming bonuses. However when I put farms on them the population grows so large that maintaining a descent morale is impossible. Why have a +300% bonus to population if you can't even use it? Is there something I'm missing, or is there a useless tile in the game? Thanks for the help!

Planet search not working. in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

Whenever I try using the search feature to search for a planet it does not find the planet I am searching for. Instead it just focuses on some planet that maybe starts with the same letter as the planet I'm searching for. It's like it is broken. Is there some trick to searching for planets? What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help!

I respectfully disagree with some of these posts about economy being the #1 priority. In my current game with 9 Civs + 8 minor races on a large galaxy I have been running a negative economy since the beginning of the game and doing pretty well. How do I do this? By selling technology. Selling technology brings in ridiculous cash. It almost seems like I'm cheating. This strategy only gets easier the more AI players there are. Once you research a tech that no one else has you can th
