[quote who="masterthief30" reply="2" id="2732992"]Yeah, I'm all patched up and the father was not Snathi. I'll see if I can take a screenie here in a sec However, I did run into Snathi in another village, and him combined with 4 other people had a combined total of 14,000 attack >. That all sounds buggy to me. If you have a save-game file with mobs/chars with those stats in it, it might be worth uploading it to rapidshare and postin

definitely up on impulse now (in case anyone is wondering since most people say "didn't get it"). I just posted a 1.05 crash report, hopefully this resolves my problem (although I can get 100-200 turns in before it dies) :) Thanks so much for being up at 0530 EST to get this out to us stardock people. -tid242

Settlement stuck at level 1, hiergemenoneonenene states: "settlement will upgrade when population reaches 0" http://rapidshare.com/files/414997781/bacon.EleSav see settlement "02Polapel" This is a settlement that I took very early game from a weak minor-race AI, it had in it an existing ogre-camp (if the AI were half-way decent it should have made an ogre from the get-go and

Sorry, I must've missed this somewhere, I'm version 1.01 (well, not "I'm" I mean "my Elemental"), are we 1.05 yet, or has that not hit impulse yet? I'm maybe having connectivity problems on my WLAN and can't tell if it's not refreshing, or if it is. Thanks in advance. Also, anyone else found the AI particularly weak when it comes to start-game? It seems like in a lot of the games I can recruit a couple of champs and then just go conque

http://pastebin.ca/1923818 I didn't see the zip file created in the \program files\stardock games\elemental directory, game crashed and windows the the usual "program has stopped working" bit, but when I selected 'end program' it never did and I ended up having to do it from the task manager. Unsure why the .zip file was never created. Crash occurred when walking my party

You know, this is a really great thread. There are a lot of things that I'm really looking forward to with Ele, but it's difficult for me to put my finger on exactly what. Just reading over the prior posts really makes me realize how many different play-styles and priorities this game accommodates. And also, how much of what's said, at the same time, resonates for me. Having said all of that - I suppose I am led to say that what I'm looking forward to

Used to buy stuff from them all the time, although that was 10 years back. I never had any problems with them then. They were sort of the newegg of their day. -tid242

Well, it's the same way in GalCiv2 whereby the pre-made races included bonuses would entail more points than are available if one were to build them as 'custom' races. I suspect that a part of this is that with the pre-made races (in GC2) or sovereigns (Ele) is that they include things that you wouldn't otherwise spend points on. Such as receiving all 4 elemental spellbooks + life, or 15 points for a spear, etc. From a longer-ter

Appreciate the effort & concern to try to be fair and do the right thing for those who had gone the impulse-route vs the retail-route. One of the reasons that I've gone with impluse is that it's just so much easier than fiddling around with discs and stores - it's also great that impulse has been a consistently easy and fair service to use. Personally, I'm not all that hung up on the immediacy of playing, rather, on the quality of the product. (I happen to have plenty of real-

Out of curiosity, with respect to essence. I've seen a lot of ways to lose it, and that it's valuable. Is there any way for your sovereign to gain essence? Cheers, -tid242
