Hey, I've been out of the loop as to the actual game development for the future (I've had my head stuck in playing mods). I've heard of this 'Fallen Enchantress' thing and I thought originally, 'Eh, just a mod'. Except, from what I'm reading and hearing on-site, it is going to be an expansion pack. I hope gunpowder does get added in even if only as a minimod. I can see good applications for it, and not just for dwarf factions or Ironeers - my sci-fi faction could do well with flintlocks, since they'd know more about gunpowder than some other faction who would be researching it, it'd be just a matter of rediscovering it. Hey, Basically, I wish to begin working on a custom faction. My intention is that they have some mild sci-fi elements but overall keep much of the overall Elemental gameplay. Bug report: When I was playing the mod just now, I research the Infantry Rifle as the Cybermen, but the graphics for it is still an archery bow as per the standard Kingdom/Empire sides, and most obviously not a bow. Quite jarring, is there a way to fix that? Also, I'm wondering how does one go about making the Cyberman upgrades placed on my recruited Champions, if that can be done in the mod now. Good enough for me. Maybe I'll come up with a Heavenly Forge type faction if I make a low fantasy RTS of my own someday. However even I admit I can come up with more interesting ideas than that again. Hey guys. I'm an enthusiastic player of Elemental, and like creating custom groups and such, but I've done some looking around in the game and existing mods and it's pretty much bogged down in a strict Tolkienesque good vs evil.
