I will be out of town next week, and I am not having any luck with finding a sub for this game. I leave on Sunday. If no one steps in, the game will need to be put on hold for a week. I should probably be able to get in the current turn and the next turn before leaving.

I think this game may need to be put on hold. I will be out of town next week. I am having trouble finding a temp sub for this game. We also need to find a permanent sub for Elana. What do you guys think of putting thing on hold and taking a couple weeks to find the new Neifelheim player?

I have taken over for Ulm in our other noob game. However, I am going to be gone the first week of October and the first week of November. Would anyone here be willing to be a temporary sub in that game?

Hmmm . . . I wonder why you might have posted that. BTW, I believe I have found a sub for Lanka, bpalczewski. He is currently playing Sauromatia in the other game. I subbed for him while he was traveling. I have advised him about the current situation between your two nations. I postponed hosting 48 hours so our new sub can have time to figure out what is going on with his new nation.

Since I doubt you guys want the game to end, and there is not a clear winner at this point, I can try to sub for Ulm. On a related note, is there anyone here that could sub for Lanka in Elementalists?

Postponed. Has any effort been made to find a sub for shadow? If he is out, is there someone who could take over as admin? Could you do it bpalczewski?

Just checking in with everyone. There has been some concern that the game has dragged on. I know at least one player is having concerns with his ability to keep going and is considering a sub. Does everyone still wish to continue?

I have received turns for the games I am in. You might want to PM llamabeast or post a thread at the Shrapnel forums and see if he can figure out what is wrong.

Just to let you guys know, who do not keep up with the official forums, llamabeast is staying with his mom for a few days, since his stepfather passed away. Until he gets back, he will not be able to get the server back up.

[quote who="Campaigner" reply="618" id="2991578"]How do you know who drained your Well of Misery? In this case, the spell would be Dispel Magic, which is an Astral spell. Certain nations are more likely to have Astral mages with enough power to cast dispel magic than others. If you will hold on another turn or two, I can take over when Sauromatia's player gets back. That will prevent C'tis' armies from suddenly doing crazy things. I would do what I can to make the aggressors pay for their victories. If you do not want to continue on, it would be up to the rest of the group if they would prefer to have you go AI or take time to find a sub and put things on hold. At this point, it is not a huge deal to have you go AI.

Was he still alive on the turn 48 that you received, back when everything first went haywire? It is possible that your enemy killed him with a remote attack spell on turn 47. If he was set to cast the spell monthly, it could have happened on turn 48, but I guess you would have had a message for that. Also, if he was involved in a battle on turn 47, he might have died legitimately.

Got the turn reminder today. I screwed up when I adjusted the time. Only did 48 hours. I will fix that now.
