I have ObjectDock Plus. When I pay the $10 for the beta, does that mean I won't have to pay any additional money for the new version when it is finally released?
Thanks for the info. I'm using Rainmeter right now, but I also want to try Sysmetrix, just want to see which program I like better.
Is Sysmetrix compatible with Windows 7? I would really like to give this program a try.
I had this problem before, and what I did was use IconDeveloper to extract the images from the .icl file. Open IconDeveloper, go to file, batch processing and then extract icons from a collection to a folder. Select the .icl file you want extracted and click open. You then will be asked to chose where you want the extracted files located. I save them in the same folder where the .icl file is. Then I move the whole folder to the IconPackager folder, which you should be able to find u
I don't know what happened before, but IP worked this time. I like to change the icons on my computer, so I was really glad.

So IP won't work on Vista 64-bit?
I just bought a new computer with Vista 64-bit preinstalled (seems that is all new computers come loaded with). I tried to apply a new icon package and only part of the icons changed. I tried to revert back to Windows default icons but all icons will not change back. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling IP but still can't get all Vista icons back. I think this subject has been brought up before but I really couldn't find a definite solution to this problem. Does anyone have a suggestions? Does

When the widgets starts up, the error pops up right away, even before I type in my zip code. Then when I do type it in, the error comes up again. Any other suggestions?
My computer was shutdown incorrectly when the breaker in my apartment went off. Now, when I run a weather widget, I get an invalid zip code error. I uninstalled and reinstalled DesktopX, but it didn't help. I cleared the widget cache, but I still get the same error. Does anyone have any suggestions? I never had any problems running anything in DesktopX before this.
I fixed my problem by uninstalling WindowBlinds and then reinstalling it. Hope I don't have to do this everytime a new skin is added.

This is just a minor problem. When I open WindowBlinds, the names of skins no longer appear. They just say unknown. This started after the last update to WindowBlinds.
Peter Jam, I have Vista so I went to the Web page you suggested. There I found this nifty little program called Vista Shortcut Manager from Frameworkx.com. It works great and is so simple to use. Thanks for the help.
This question has probably been answered before, but is there a way to get rid of the shortcut overlay on desktop icons?
