Did you have 10 cystals in your resources. If you have 10 crystals then you can finish the quest as the quest will take those crystals from you. If you are saying you didn't have 10 crystals and you were able to advance? Edit: Did a test, if you do not have 10 crystals it doesn't say anything when you revisit the location, but if you have 10 crystals then it removes them from your resources as it should. Actually you do not need to kill the ophidians to finish this quest. It will take 10 crystals if you've got them, the ophidian part is just in case you don't have 10 crystals. No bug here as you were still probably charged 10 crystals. Similar to the artic wolf cloak guy, since all he really needs are the pelts, it doens't have to be from the wolves he spawned for you.
Never mind... it is charging double by the XML. Had to throw it in my quest editor to catch where the error is coming from...
Then you may have to wait for 1.5 update to see if that will recover it. They have been successful with other individuals saves...

I looked at the files and I see that stardock included some background stats for CotS in the undead stuff. At least they worked with some compatibility with CotS.

You could do that for all your games if you like, but you don't want to end up with overwhelming random event syndrome with a random event happening every 5 turns or so, so tread lightly.

I've sent Derek a fix for all the rivers on the map. Not sure if it would fix the problem you are having, it could be just the hang errors that they fixed for the next patch.
Could you list the mods you are using, the maker might want to know of this simple error they made.
I was debating whether to tell you or not, since you do present these bugs in full detail and have been around. Of course this one should have been fixed and apparently has not been fixed. Didn't want to burst your bubble again [e digicons]:troll:[/e]
Why could you not produce a function that adjusts the unit stat depending on how often you researched the tech by setting up a player ability counter... not sure if that would work, but it might just be a work around for what you are trying to accomplish.

That particular error usually happens when you have defined in the files a duplicate art definition for the bonesplinter mount. Have you modded anything with your files? In particular I do not have this issue.
Looking at some of the game stuff, there apparently were 2 single player campaigns. But I couldn't determine, if the choice to remove the game from everyone's account was the choice of valve (steam) or the company who created the game (Square Enix CO.).
I've sent the update... I didn't change the chasm, as it would change the entire look of the area, not sure how to change it without modifying the artistic integrity of the map.

Derek -- have you reworked the map? I've done some changes to the rivers (removed non-rivers, moved rivers to appropriate cliffs, removed strictly land rivers) Currently I was going to fiddle with fixing that chasm problem that exists in the map, but all the river stuff is functioning appropriately. Were you intending for land rivers? Another 10-15 min of work and I'll have the chasm looking better...
For the blood god you need to wait till turn 260 For the secrets need to wait till turn 210 these have a chance of showing up so no guarantees.
In contrast I've been able to have him turn on the slavers and not crash. Something is going behind the scenes.
