Still, no option to cuckold husbands and impregnate mistresses does not mean we have to go entirely without bastards. I hope to see a few quests and/or semi-random free champions involve characters like Jon Snow in A Song of Ice and Fire.
You might end up with a FitzChivalry Farseer whose very presence turns the kingdom into chaos...ah Robin Hobb...what a deadset legend. Have you read the Farseers GW?
I wish I had a dollar for every time I woke up on Monday and asked that question.
Criminy how much ARE they paying you? Sounds like a human rights issue man...
wow imagine how boring being google would be
I play a fair bit of multi...but I have limited interest in Elementals multi, co-op with my partner is about it...she's in the beta already, but I have a feeling in the end we'll play far more single player than multi. The only thing that worries me about multi is if the diversity gets ruined because of the ultimately boring quest for balance, which will turn the game into lukewarm drivel the way it does to every game it locks onto to feed upon. Where all the hardcores can masturbate with del
I may install this on my wife's system as well just to test that theory.
This would be greatly appreciated if you have the time Nice review btw
lol Stardock you legends...this game is still beautiful too, especially when you finally get to see fifty moho mines swimming through the air without a single dropped frame. Or putting a hundred hawks on patrol over an enomous base and watching them curve through the air on 2010 technology... Hey...any chance of some new "IMMENSE" maps...how hard could it be? Are you sewing the 1500 unit patch into the install? love u guys...srsly...
The polygamy trait would only have an advantage if your Sov is male, marrying multiple me won't improve a female Sovs birthrate
Unless you're some kind of fallen insect thing that thrives on diverse sperm to increase your egg sac potential
Government is what is keeping those rotting corpses around to screw us again. They should have all gone into bankruptcy, to either be restructured or liquidated.
Hard to disagree with that
Well, I think (personally) that Stardock should add *legal* polygamy as an advantage, and faithful monagamy as a "disadvantage"** **its not actually a disadvantage, but by maintaning Morale Authority, you are able to spend more points on other facets of life, its not to say that monogamy is "worse" merely that it allows you to be a better person in other areas. Likely Faithful Monagamists and Legal Polygamists would be at opposing ends, and thus have diplomatic difficulties.
Perhaps you could "round-robin" the different things players can do during their turn. For example, it might be player A's turn to work on his economy; player B's turn to move units; player C's turn to carry out all tactical battles. Next turn, rotate the turn type. Just a thought, because so many times in TB games I wished I could do my economy or building while the other guy is fighting his battles.
Aye this is the way I would go. I've played a fair bit of HOMM mul
Anthropomorphic Projections: "Of course the animals talk back to me..." - Your sovereign has been on the internet too long and has developed an 'affinity' with certain furry animals
baha! you legend...I will never understand how little anthropomorphic gets used in the world, considering it is the prima of so many belief structures.
I'm just being picky, I called them plovers growing up and spent too many days harassing them so they would swoop us, oh the days... I think so...but not immediatly...couldn't find the release date though...do they have one yet?
Is PC gaming changing & evoloving? Yes. Is it dying? Not in the slightest.
*wink* nicely said general
Yeah I am, though I'm not dying to play it...I'm pretty sure it'll be hell fun...one thing I'll say about blizzard, they know how to dangle a carrot in gaming. And man I love the ridiculous amount of loot in Diablo games, the was boss characters just explode into phat ribbons of gold...awesome.
Not to go all second-generation hippie on you, but were you concerned about avoiding the critter harm in general or did you know that the baby spiders covering you were a good ally against a serious pest like roaches? (I admit I'm thinking a little bit about Elemental quests and the Giant Spiders we've seen in the betas so far.)
GW my friend, it was an explosion of intuitive will and as such I was not in a short term/long t
One last thing about roads. They are used for transport and trade. Rivers are also. I would like to see barges, rafts, docks, etc along "some" river routes. Rivers should be large commerce hubs or at least have a presence in some territories and/or geographic features.
Nice...I love that idea, especially if some fallen fiend can cast a pollution spell on it and ruin everyones megabux trade. Great thread everyone, I had no idea what a dark horse roads were.</
I'd say "Snap," but I worry about ending up with a bunch of webbing all over me...
I once ran out of a house naked covered in baby spiders (combination of the need for speed and the desire not to hurt as many spiders as possible) and my housemate has brought one of his work buddies home to check out the property we were renting (serious business type - we were all a little more crazy). So I'm flailing my limbs and yelling 'spiders spiders!' and then I look up and see th
In Elemental, the pre-canned text will NOT be silly (except some in the beta). There will be an official announcement about this in fact at GDC.
aw thats a bit sad...i love the funny stuff, it was nice and subtle in gc2, more of an offer than a direction...I mean, it was necessary to engage with it. Anyways, whatever inspires the team is good.
The combination of "we want to avoid workers" and "we want more depth than roads just appearing" suggests to me that the problem with the worker system is the micromanagement. Road-building workers are to Civilization what peons are to RTS games, and people do tend to prefer post-peon resource management
aye, nice yep excellent post, workers begone...you clog up the joint. I say click and drag and get a research/logistics time frame depending on the terrain/treasury.</
