Thank you, Draver. Is there a thread for discussing that mod? I was hoping to find the xml that defines what these values currently are to play within the rules (i.e. still get Steam achievements). I'm 39 hours into a giant galactic map where I can't even build the modules I was originally planning for (RIP). Is it correct that the UP_MBC_NexusAugmentsForAll xml replaces a file or section of a larger xml that presumably includes traits as some of the values? Please pardon

Are there tech requirements for the different Stellar Nexus build options? Where do we see that information? I'm not seeing all of them available as nexus upgrades before or after the 3.0 patch (I have games before and after the patch that have different options, and both are missing options from the OP in this thread).
Did you change Yellow and Blue Nexus to take out the Garden upgrades and the Engine upgrades or to add prerequisites? All three tiers of each branch are missing as an option for me. Yellow Generators and Blue Mirror branches are there. I loaded a save from before the patch, and that save still has the others as options. I don't see this in the patch notes. Same custom civ before and after the patch (made in game, not a mod). edit: since I po
Couldn't the new surrender mechanic have become a selectable option rather than default behavior? Is it because it would require a GUI change for the space of the new option? What if we liked the CPU doing that? Can we change the XML in order to set it back? In what files and under what names are the triggers written that we can override manually in a mod?
Thanks, Kael. Where do we give feedback on your maps? I'll send you a pm with a Wilink bug.
I keep noticing massive expansion from enemy AI, particularly from the Snathi. I even bumped it down to beginner, and I'm playing a custom civ with massive growth, and they still have more colonies than me. Are the Snathi supposed to be this nuts? I'm talking they have 40+ colonies while I have about 35 and the rest have 10-25 colonies.
oh thank goodness for this patch!
I'm on an insane map, and I've been noticing the dialog choices late in the game have been wonky. When settling new planets and when checking out anomalies I'm getting mixed messages to start with. Sometimes, I'm never really sure what was in the anomaly, for example it will say I found a ship when exploring an artifact, and there's no ship afterwards (because it wasn't a graveyard!). Anyway, I also have the WAIT error and it totally sucks on an insane map and I'm
you can fit six constructor modules on a late game constructor, and keep alternating between different types of six-module units after using five of them. Frankly, on an insane map, you have to do this. Each of my turns takes almost ten minutes, and that's using this workaround (not an exploit). If this wasn't an option, the way starbases are handled in this game would be completely obnoxious and turn me off the game concept entirely. It's already barely tolerable.
Does this patch address the bug in the 300+ turn range where the turn never ends and it just greys the button out? The one with the workaround here: https://forums.galciv3.com/469652/page/1/
There's a workaround in this other thread: https://forums.galciv3.com/469652 more specifically, save the game AFTER it gets stuck and then quit and reload, and it gets you past whatever was sticking. I was saving it at the last step before hitting the turn button and couldn't get past it, but had not yet tried to save after hitting the Turn button.
Thank you for posting this! It helped me get unstuck! Turns were taking 10 minutes each of micromanagement, so going back to try again and then getting stuck again was a big deal. If this keeps working, you've saved my 88 hour game! /edit 89 hour game, it worked through the next turn!
I am in a similar situation and when I tagged my save for uploading and submitted the ticket there was then a problem. It submitted the ticket, but said the filesize on the attachment was too big so it couldn't be uploaded. I didn't get a second shot to attach the save. How are we supposed to upload 15mb save files with our bug reports? edit: it was turn 418 not 500 if that matters.
Ok, so I too am getting the bug where the game won't advance. Hopefully the fix drops soon. Should it already be out there today? That post was two days ago. [quote who="meteuremu" reply="145" id="3572000"] Please fix Morale, the LEP is 100% IMPOSSIBLE to work with. I am on insane map with 215 planets, 0 overall morale, I have a max morale starbase
