Well that's interesting, the line only appears on windows 7 it seems. Thanks everyone for your help so far.
Alright, so I cropped it shifted the image down and it didn't work. That's when I noticed the margins area. (I'm new to Skin Studio). I toyed with those and its fine. Then I changed the margins back to what they were, and its still fine. So now I am all kinds of confused as to what actually fixed that problem.
I just opened it in SkinStudio. The taskbar image has some transparent area below it. This is why it shows that way. Only way to fix it is to remove that transparent part. In other words, it's by design.
That was my initial thought, however neither editing the image so that the transparent area is cropped out, or shifting the image down until it is flush with the bottom edge remedy the issue. What else would I try?
Of course. I also have no other customization programs as this is a clean install for my new purchase of stardock software. (I purchased OD, so only have those and Display Fusion installed as far as customization goes) My About page: Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 5.9 Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 7.3 WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 7.3 (build 310 - Windows 7 Edition) - 64 bit OS WindowBl
I am currently using Fearomone as my skin and I have found that it causes the taskbar to "float" roughly 2-3 pixels higher than it should. This allows a thin line to show through of the desktop wallpaper UNDER the taskbar. I was wondering if this is a common ailment, a feature of the skin, or something I can remedy in skinstudio. I have already tried opening up the image in Paint.Net through skin studio and shifting the taskbar down, I have also tried cropping it to remove t
Just thought I would add my own delayed 2 cents. I have found that skins with transparency will show a ghost image of the rectangle taskbar beneath. Thinks like Fearamone won't display correctly, while other taskbars with the same default shape will. This is Windows 7 x64 with Display Fusion and WB
Thank you kindly for everyone's time and patience. Your kindness has netted you a new sale. Thank you once again.
Very cool, now all I need to do is wait a tad for Neil to respond with what is currently in the Package. Then see if the few programs I am looking for are currently in it. (Or hope someone will accidently tip me off to if they will be available in the near future). xD.
RightClick is no longer included in Object Desktop, as it is no longer in active development. It shouldn't be on the page you mentioned, so I apologize for that. I'm poking the web team about it now. CursorFX and ObjectDock have always been separate products, so they are also not included. The nature of Object Desktop is a bit liquid, and it changes as new programs are released, and old ones are no longer&n
Very cool, thank you for your help.
It's a bit more nuanced than that. A few of the previously included and still listed apps have become 'legacy' apps by virtue of OS updates/changes and are no longer being actively developed: IconX, ObjectBar, RightClick, LogonStudio, TweakVista and WebBlinds. One nice recent change to the MyDownloads page in the Stardock Store is that these legacy apps are now clearly identified as such. One included app not listed abov
I am not convinced about RightClick or Keyboard Launchpad being in ObjectDesktop any longer. The store info seems to be very old as it mentions WindowFX only supporting Windows XP and this has not been the case since WFX4 was released and we are now onto WFX5 betas. I will find out and update this thread on Monday.
I did notice that the site seemed to be quite out of date in some cases. But these things happen
So I just found ANOTHER link with even more stuff mentioned that isnt on the other pages. https://store.stardock.com/product/ESD-SDS-W011 https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/purchase.asp https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/information.asp Between
I have seen dozens of posts about this same thing, but they were all 4 years old with no definative fixes. I was wondering why I am unable to change my Logon Screen. I have tried both running LogonStudio as admin and regular user, I have also done a re-install, and restarting the comp. Steps: Downloaded LogonStudio from stardock website. Installed. Applied Theme from winCustomize. (maybe a wrong version?) Tried to change to another theme. (Of my own Design)<br /
Quoting Shimizoki, reply 9but does that link imply that ObjectDesktop does NOT come with CursorFX or ObjectDock? ObjectDesktop does not come with CursorFX nor ObjectDock. What comes in ObjectDesktop is listed here - https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/information.asp There is a free version of CursorFX - https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorfx/downloads.asp and also ObjectDock - https://www.stardock.com/
https://www.stardock.com/store Sorry to pseudo revive this... but does that link imply that ObjectDesktop does NOT come with CursorFX or ObjectDock? (Long Time Fan, Contemplating Purchasing)
