Best sov in my exp is the pure caster. Female- So I can hook up with J asap. Race- Men. So I can buy boots. Drop- str, cha, dex to 5. Up int and wis to 15. Con 14. History- Royalty. By far the best option you can pick. Spell books: Water for Icelord, fire for damage and firegaint. Earth is nice for the golem but it's overkill. Icelord kills all and is not dependent on mana.

When I got the quest the location of the egg was not revealed. I was sad. Also had a lvl 3 quest location disapear after I tabbed out. Even reloading my game would not restore it. I was impressed. Never played a game where tabbing out permently removes content.

Reply to Organized? in War of Magic

It was a must have ability from a powergamer point of view. There was no disadvantage as the A.I didn't get it. I like the idea of all sovs having organized. A large amount of people won't even buy a game without a campaign. It doesn't matter if "you" don't care one way or the other, or you don't get why so many care about a decent campaign in a sand box game. Get over it. Having one sells more copies period. It's simply good business.

Highly disagree that it's pointless to cast anything else aside from port. An army of just summoned creatures does great early to med game. Yes, the horridly slow mana regen blows. Plans are in the works to address that (so I read). I don't know about asap but here are some issues off the top of my head: The em

I don't know how anyone can refer to the campaign as a tutorial. It did not teach anything. I could almost forgive it if it was. This is without a doubt the most barebones campaign I have ever seen in a game. A single map, completely liner, zero challenge, short, and a story that arguably could not be more unoriginal. Piff, book 1 indeed. More like page 1.
