Count me in, I would love some epic battle action. It's always exciting to beat a superior force by with tactics and maneuvering, but the current combat system doesn't allow it. I would love it to be Total War style real time, because it suits the tactical maneuvering thing well, but it in no means has to be that way to be epic. All aspects of the gameplay are due for an overhaul, and in some cases a complete revision, so the current state of the game maybe largely an inaccurate

There is no voice acting in the game, bad or otherwise, unless you count the grunting. That said, you should wait for the demo, if you found the voice acting annoying enough to not play Sins, this game might just rub your nerves raw. Edit: forgot the opening cinema.

Damn dude, now I wish I hadn't even read your post about reading the manual. The game described in the manual sounds pretty cool. Oh well, the big 08 will get it going in the right direction, and the 1.1 will most likely be way different then the current game, so we'll have to keep our hearts up.

Wait. Right now the game, at best, is an acquired taste. There a lot of changes coming in the next couple of months and might be some teething pains to boot. Unless you love modding, no one can justify the $50 price tag, but that might change shortly. Brother J
