A good patch, to be sure. It took a whole 475 turns for my computer to finally cough up elemental and die. The only downside is the game doesn't start spazzing out before the crash, it just crashes, eventually. :) Still, a very drastic improvement, I couldn't get past turn 100 before. Still, some things I'd like to see changed. 1: Auto-moving in combat. I can't tell you how many times I was mindlessly right clicking to try and attack waiting f

IE: Imbue champion. That whole "draw it out and share it with the kingdom as a whole" is just kind of lame. Sorry, I don't like the idea of global mana. Explaining the same concept using different words isn't going to make me like the concept. I hope they change their mind and don't do it. I like it how it is now.
Yea, I've encountered what I can only describe as "miss-spam" from creatures with a higher defense. I would like to see something where Dexterity and shields determines your miss chance on the defensive, and your chance to hit with bows on the offensive, and heavier armor provides better damage reduction, but makes you more likely to be hit. The fact that we have misses is good, but the misses happen way too often to be fun.
That's exactly the part I don't like. I wouldn't see it as the "sovereign sharing it with them." It'd just be "everyone has magic now." It ruins the concept for me entirely. It makes imbue champion rather worthless. I
Essense will be replaces by mana income that adds to a global pool in 1.1, so it might be better to talk about how to work with that than essense as it is now.
I dislike this idea a lot (even if it's planned.) Right now, essence is tied directly to your sovereign, which is pretty much the premise of the game. Changing essence to be a global pool of mana seems to take that "power" away from the sovereign and take aw
OMG, Raven, you are awesome! I'll install as soon as the vamps come out. :) You are my new hero. FE: Awesome! Thanks for the feedback, glad I'm not alone. :) I'm slowly finding things that let me do what I want to do. I did later figure out that you can indeed play your custom faction, I missed the little arrow button. So I now have a kindred faction, soon to be vampire faction when Raven X comes out with vamps (woohoo!) I can now
Ninjas took to privatteering about 500 years ago. You have all been fooled, the ninjas are the pirates. Ahahhahahaha, arrrr.
First off, thank you, for creating Elemental. It's a beautiful mix of RTS, Civilization, RPG, etc. Love the "create your own hero" option and I'm a particular fan of the "create your own goth/undead/dare I say it 'vampire' hero" that you've added in there. Very nice touch. I don't really care for your games, personally, but I absolutely advocate Stardock as a developer and support what your doing and the message your bringing. I mean, let's be fair, SoSE was an o
Ummm...I'm pretty sure hammers, maces, and flails were designed to break heavy armour. There was a reason a flail had a spiked ball and a mace had "flanges." It was to facilitate breaking armor. Also view the "punching dagger" which was meant to punch through armor. Metal just wasn't as strong in the medieval era as it is today. But let's ignore all that, history doesn't actually matter in this case, game balance is the important factor. The ide
