How do I DL the music in the Steam Premium version? I'm not seeing an option for it anywhere? Thanks in advance.

Hi, "Yeah, I was on a planet and got stuck in a hole and then since I was unable to get ou
Hello! This sounds pretty interesting to me. So, I'll vote for the Thraddash. I love those guys. But, since it's much earlier in the time line perhaps they could be a peaceful culture #1 that spans several systems and has nice calm music for them. Don't know what they have tech wise exactly, but what if the player then sells/teaches them about nukes which could set off a, "chain reaction" where they start blowing themselves up like in previous games and then they only control their ho
Hi all! I'm a new founder as of today, yay! I'm Marc from Chicago, USA and I go by Corgano. I played the original series way back when and really enjoyed it. I'm very much looking forward to the new SCO and seeing all the different aliens they come up with and all of their personality quirks. :) --Marc
Hi all! So, it's my understanding that Stardock has just purchased the rights to the Star Control franchise from Atari. But, I for the life of me can't remember where I read this at? Is there an official post someplace that I can read? Aside from that, I just have to say: FREAKING AWESOME!!!! I'm really excited
Hi. Maybe I didn't explain myself well enough, but I didn't make a mod or create my own graphics or anything like that. I just used the faction creator tool and the create your own character tool that comes with the game itself. Oh, and as far as the portraits go, they're all blacked out. So, I can't see what any of the other NPCs look like. Thanks for you time in advance, --Marc
Portrait - Well, as I made my own faction/hero (and in the game) the portrait of my hero is simply completely blacked out. Couldn't even see what portrait I chose for him while making him. Speed - For some reason, after several turns, the game comes down to a crawl. It becomes unplayable and I have to exit and re-start it. Been happening on a regular basis to me. UI - Well, this may be part of the slowness, but I'm not 100% sure. The top left menu and my armies/c
Hi all. Well, I have to say that my game (since the new update 1.12) CTDs a lot... and I mean a lot. It was running smoothly before the update. :( Not sure what's changed. What should I post in here? DXDiag? Some crash log? Or should I post it someplace else? Or E-Mail it somewhere? Please advise. Thank You, Marc
Hello. I tried to run the latest update version of the new game .981 and my Norton antivirus software said it contained a virus and deleted the .exe file, but not until I double clicked on it, doh! After I clicked on it it said it couldn;t find the install file or some such. It also said the virus was called: WS.Reputation.1 I got the latest update from your site. So... is it just a bug? Or is it a virus? I haven't seen any mention of it here on the board. Thanks for your
(15) If you have Windows XP 32-bit, you can get better performance if you enable large address awareness.
Sounds good... but how do you do that exactly? Thanks in advance for your time, Corgano
Yup... Looking forward to Beta 4. I know I'll be playing it as soon as it is released. Keep up the great work people!!!
First off hello to everyone! Hope you don't mind that I put these bugs in this post. I'm fairly new to testing here as I just received permission to do so. Sorry if these are already known issues. Ok, in my .77 version I have noticed that my explorers stop auto-exploring after some time passes. There are still areas to be explored, but they just stop and stand in one place on the map and pressing the Explore button doesn't do anything. Secondly, I was asked to give
Thanks for this. This is probably the most intimate consumer-service exchange I've ever experienced and it makes me feel like I matter. Thank you.
Exactly my feelings as well. Keep up the great work! Peace, Cor
@Kermo - Follow the VE3D link above for the rest of the story. Peace, Cor
I'm with you guys... there needs to be a map editor/maker. Though I thought they used Granny to make their maps, but I could be wrong. Either way 3dmax could be used so long as there was an import/export function. I by no means am any kind of modder, so I hope that they would make this very user friendly. I'd love to make some maps for everyone to play on. [e digicons]:)[/e] Peace, Cor
